After looking at bunk beds at Rooms To Go, we determined 1- we really wanted the attached stairs but 2- there was no way we were going to pay DOUBLE for those blasted stairs. So we looked on Amazon and found this gem – literally HALF the price and just as cute as the ones we were considering at RTG.

I was wary, though. Previous attempts to buy furniture on another site had been a disaster with pieces arriving damaged. But, given the price, and the other reviews, we decided to take a gamble.

The bed arrived in 3 HUGE boxes. Some of the boxes had visible damage so I was concerned about damage to the bed pieces within, but the interior of the boxes were packaged well with Styrofoam. Amazingly, not one piece arrived damaged in any way.

The Bad: there are SEVERAL pieces to this bed. I’m talking hundreds counting all the hardware. It took my family of 4 about 6 hours to assemble this bed. The instructions are small and at times difficult to decipher. In fact, we found at least 2 errors in the manual. Nothing big, but details that made us lose time discovering the discrepancy between the part we were holding and the picture we were looking at in the manual.

The Good: This bed is SOLID. And the attention to detail in the design is top notch. It is super cute too!

Overall: YOU CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE! If you have half a day, a world of patience, and a helper or 2, this bed is well worth it! It even ended up being a fun day of family bonding for us! For our family, the good FAR outweighed the inconvenience of assembly. Our daughters gained some valuable skills with using tools, construction and perseverance.

Note: The Assembly Manual that is linked in the Amazon listing is NOT correct. You must use the one enclosed with the bed. Ours was tucked (hidden) among the Bunkie boards in the box with the hardware.

Also note: the drawers on the side are VERY shallow. Consider the depth before thinking you can use it as a replacement for a dresser.

I would love to give a positive review, however, there were no instructions with the bunk bed and it has been impossible to contact anyone about it. Super frustrating that we had to take everything out of the boxes looking for the instructions and there are none. Let alone the fact that there is no contact information foe the seller and the brand. I am def thinking twice before buying a big ticket item on bere again.

Ordered this for my kids, ages 4 and 5. It came in three boxes, one being around 120ibs and coming a day after the two smaller boxes, so be prepared for that. it actually came three days before the estimated delivery date range started. The instructions we about have way down in the heavy box, but it could be different per order.

The instructions are a little bit cramped and can be hard to read at times, but I was able to get through them without incident. It was simple to put together, and can be simplified further by having better tools that what is included.

My husband and I normally put together all our furniture, but after reading the reviews we went with “expert assembly” on this one and it was so worth the money!!
It took the expert about 4hrs to put it together. Some pieces came scraped and one piece came cracked but luckily they weren’t essential pieces.
So happy with the final product and our daughter loves her “big girl bed”!

To begin, the instructions are 'okay' but still cause, some, confusion. Which led me to have to constantly take pieces apart. For me, the panels are hard to get into wood frame, as the wood was not cut into properly for panel fitting. It took me 30 minutes to 'dig' out a small section for 1 panel to fit. It took me a total of 8 hours to put together, that's because I didn't have any help. The drawer sliders are trash and the pull out trundle looks flimsy and has to constantly be realigned when being pushed back under main bunk beds. In the end this bed is well worth the money and time plus effort to put together. There was no damage to the product upon arrival, shipping was lightening fast (I was expecting it on a Tuesday, it came on a Friday). My kids are enjoying their new bed.

Wow. I read the reviews before I purchased this and yes, the instructions of how to put this together are terrible. Make sure you read and re-read each sections of directions before you put it all together only to realize you missed a step in step one (seriously, each instruction has at least 4-5 steps in each one) other than taking at least 10 hours to put together, the bunk beds are great, sturdy and most of all my girls love it! No damage to any of the pieces and all hardware was in the packaging!

Parts were not numbered right. Had to switch then around to ensemble correctly.
