The package arrived after about two weeks. One metal piece on the bottom was bent. It took awhile to put together there are a lot of pieces but overall was pretty easy. The wine glass holder is too skinny to fit any normal size glasses! I had to bend the metal in order to be able to hang them. The wood is partical board but what do you expect for under 200$. Overall it looks cute but for this price I'd think it would be a little better quality.
So happy with this purchase. We looked at all the options on here and all the major sites and landed on this one in the end. It was easy to assemble and all the materials are very high quality for the price. One of the pieces was mislabeled, so we were confused for a minute but we figured it out. It's a good size, even a handle of liquor fits on the bottom with room to spare. Highly recommend!
I was really excited about this bar cart. It had everything I wanted, but when it arrived there were a number of issues with the parts and assembly of the cart. There were no pre-drilled holes (zero) which there is supposed to be and 3/4 of the wheels do not work as they are not properly set in the base. At first, I was going to look past these issues, but after calling the customer service line twice and leaving a voicemail as well as submitting an inquiry through their website, I have still not been able to get ahold of anyone at this company. I'd steer clear of this item because if you have any issues with your order, you will likely be out of luck.
I’m happy with this cart. It’s heavy and solid, which make it feel nicer and stronger. The wood is particle board but it could almost foil you. The metal is that nice industrial look with a matte finish.
I bought it to have more surface space for Thanksgiving and get people out of the kitchen when making drinks.
One downside that is true of all bar carts of this style: I noticed that the other two shelves are only so useful, because with glasses and wine bottles hanging, you can’t put much on the two lower shelves. Also, it’s hard to see and reach whatever you put there.
A note on assembly and quality control:
Unfortunately, the pieces didn’t fit well together, so it took some wrenching and bending and jamming to assemble. I am patient and I was losing my cool.
(1) One frame was crooked so it formed more of a parallelogram than a rectangle, which means the shelves hang slightly over in some places and don’t go far enough in others. However, you don’t really notice once it’s assembled - I was surprised.
(2) The bolts used for the casters had bent/jammed threads so 2 of them took me 30 minutes to get in. I ended up having to sand down the first start of the thread on one (the thread was bad), and bang the other one in with a hammer as a last resort (the hole was too small and had bits of metal blocking the entrance). Now all the casters are on and look great, though!
Okay, I love this bar cart (even though they call it a kitchen cart). It was VERY affordable and it's pleasantly larger than I thought it'd be. The thing took me way too long to put together. I had to dig out my drill and use masking tape to map out where the drilled holes would go. Probably better if two people work on this, but by myself I was cool. Again, the manufacturer REALLY needs to think about calibrating a machine in production to put those missing pre-drilled holes in where they need to be. That's the only negative I can say. Otherwise, I would have given it 5-stars instead of four.
The build was fairly easy, the only setback was I had to drill a few holes that should have been pre-drilled like the others. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what to do. This cart is very sturdy and holds a lot of bottles as well as some wine glasses.
Great bang for your buck! It has a nice rustic feel to it. The wheels move smoothly and everything seemed to fit together easily, decently sturdy. I’m pretty obsessed with this car, I’m using it as a wine cart in my living room
