Make sure you push through the bigger white push connector before you feed any other hoses to ease installation! Even with the hose issue I still had it installed in under 10 minutes but that's my biggest take away.
Everything about this faucet helped for an easy install. The extra long color coded supply lines, the push connector for the pull out spray hose, the labeled spot for the hose weight, pre installed supply lines. It is designed to be super easy install. I would recommend using plumbers tape or plumbers sealer on the wall to supply line connection.
This faucet has a beautiful look. My mom opted to keep this one instead of a higher priced one installed in her main kitchen. It has a lighter feel but at this price point you get a lot more than expected. I will update if I run into any quality problems. But as of now I will be buying one of these for my girlfriends house.
The main thing about this faucet is that there are name brand alternatives at the big chain hardware stores for 4 times the cost, and I couldn't see a real difference in quality. It is solidly built, and looks great after installation. Now, one thing that the big hardware stores do well is that they have huge stickers with "1,2,3,4 hole installation," on each item on display. If I searched here for "2 hole installation," 95% of the search results are not 2 hole installation at all! That was what happened in my case- it turned out I have two holes in a marble countertop, which means drilling a new hole was not going to be done without special equipment.
I was going to return this, but instead I've decided to install the faucet in one half and an under the counter water filter in the other (you could also do something like put a soap dispenser in the second hole for $10). In the picture I don't have the water filter installed yet, so I put my dish soap over the whole (yes, I know it's a bit of a cheat for now).
It has a great single or shower-like spray, and you can hit a button on the nozzle to stop the flow of water without reaching down and turning it off at the base, much like a water hose.
The only other important information is that I gave this three stars on installation for two reasons: the water hose connections are about 3 inches too short in my case to reach the water valves, so I had to go buy an extension for about $7, and the large plastic and metal "nut" that secures the faucet to the counter requires you to snake the hoses through it first. This is a very, very, tight fit- and I finally figured out I had to put the one hose with a plastic large connector (for the pull out handle) through first, and then work the others through. This isn't the easiest thing when you are under the sink.
Overall, the value and upgrade in style is a tremendous deal compared to the price of getting one at one of the large hardware stores. Highly recommended!
I have not had it installed and operational yet. I will update my review when I do. I have assembled it and it is GORGEOUS. I live in southern AZ where the water corrodes all plumbing fixtures within 3 years regardless how expensive they are. So we now replace only with inexpensive ones. This one Has good weight to it and doesn’t feel like a cheap faucet at all. the pull down sprayer doesn’t stay in place now, but I am assuming it will once it is installed and the weight (included in package) is added to the end of the hose. That weight is HEAVY!! Again, I will update after installation and let you know!
Brought this faucet to upgrade my kitchen faucet that was 15 years old. Received this and have been using it for a week. Here are my personal comments: Very consistent, stable flow; The regular flow and spray are both working perfectly ;the faucet is well built with stainless steel althought the rocker switch is make of hard plastic. I have to say the installation was much easier than I thought. It has all the accessories in the box. I am not a pro plumber but this thing only tool me 30 min to complete. Satisfied with the purchase for the money.
Install instructions were very clear and was able to install without issues. Build quality were good and touchless feature is a major plus nowadays with virus and everything.
I replaced a 20? year old builders grade two knob kitchen faucet with this. It was dang easy to install. The hardest part was removing the old faucet. It fixed my water pressure issue and looks fantastic. Easy to use on and off. The head is designed for easy sink cleaning and since I have an older white enamel sink with four holes this is so much better. The escutcheon plate fits flush and covers the two unused holes and the faucet sits in the center one. The forth hole is now filled with the suggested soap dispenser so I no longer need the bottle on the counter. This faucet is easier to clean behind than my old one and makes my kitchen more modernized. My house is 120 years old, but boy does this ever help me save time cleaning up in the kitchen. I can even fit my large kettle comfortably under the tap now while filling because of the higher arch. The large nut that holds the faucet in place is much larger than the old ones I had on there and was easy to place because of the way it was designed. Go for it! You’ll love this one!
This faucet is great! My old kitchen sink was old and needed a more modern look. For the price, it was much cheaper than the competitors that range from $100+. Everything was easy to install and the user manual was very helpful. Only warning I would say is to be careful of the pipes as they bend easily and can damage if even lightly bended. Other than that, everything functions great and the pull feature is awesome for cleaning dishes!
