When I ordered this, I was expecting the fake wood that most furniture is made of nowadays, but I was surprised that it's genuine high quality wood. It was very easy for two people to assemble. I think it might be difficult for one person, just because you need someone at either end of the bed sometimes. I've had it for a few months, and so far it isn't wobbly or anything like that. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bed.

LOVE this bed! I was pleasantly surprised at how solid this piece is! It arrived in 4 boxes and nothing was damaged! Only took about an hour and a half to put everything together. Very happy with this purchase!!

We purchased this bed after finding mostly positive reviews on other styles from the same company. It was a challenge to find a hardwood storage bed at a reasonable price. When we opened the boxes to assemble the bed we discovered a significant "puncture" in one of the rails, the top piece of the headboard separating from the connecting panel and a large pressure crack in the same panel as if someone had stepped on it. The rest of the assembly, hardware, wood finish, etc was lovely. It is a shame and a major inconvenience to repack all the parts and continue to shop for a bed.

Would give zero stars if I could. We received the bed in 4 boxes. Order queen bed in walnut. Received WHITE guard rails for a twin bunk. Boxes clearly marked . Called for assistance and was put on hold for 15 minutes then answering service took message. Still waiting on call back 2 weeks later. Finally got response from oj commerce they are "out of stock". If they are out of stock where is my head board and foot board. I have nothing to say about either company .will not be buying from Atlantic furniture or oj commerce.

I bought it for my son, he needs longer bed and this is 80", twin XL . It is very hard to find Twin XL in the store , so I had to buy it online. It's perfect !
