Wow this is such an amazing upgrade to the mattress that came with my Raymour and Flanigan sofa bed! I just purchased this Memory Foam Full Size Replacement Sofa Bed Mattress this month, and my sister and nephew have been over twice in the last two weeks! The mattress arrived in two days, so fast and on time. It did have an odor so I aired it out for a couple of days and sprayed some Fabric Refresher from Febreze on the entire Foam Mattress and it did the trick! It is very comfortable indeed and the sofa closes back to its original form. My sister who has terrible back pain loves it so much that she will buy one for her mattress as a topper. I still can’t believe the price! Amazing bargain. I do have to say that when my guest are over I still take out the sofa mattress that it had before to put it underneath the Memory Foam Replacement Sofa Mattress that I bought since I find that it makes it more comfortable although it is not necessary. I have told a couple of people so far and will continue to share of this impressive purchase because I would like others to have happy guest as I do now. It is true that is better to give than to receive! I am giving a comfortable stay to my guest everytime they come over and my heart has nothing but joy. We bought a sofa sleeper and it came with a terrible Serta innerspring 4 inch mattress. Absolutely terrible mattress, I felt the bar and couldn’t get comfortable at all. So I was looking for a mattress thick enough to possibly not feel the bar but more so for the comfort, as long as it was comfortable I’d take feeling the bar any day. I ordered this mattress 2 days ago and it arrived today, unboxing it was a bit of a task but I grunted and made a hilarious show of unboxing it to the amusement of my grandmother. It was vacuumed sealed and as soon as I ripped the packaging and inflated immediately. Let me tell ya, laying on this is a dream compared to the atrocity that came with the sofa, I couldn’t feel the bar, my grandma layed on it and she loved it, same with my mother. AND THATS NOT ALL, it folded up back into the sofa!! I was really worried I’d have to fold it up and store it somewhere other than on the bed, but nope, fit like a glove. If you have a sleeper sofa, get this, buy it now, you will not regret it.

The only small downside is the slight odor, though I let it air of for about 8 hours and I’m laying on it now and it’s fine. Definitely need to air it out once you get but seriously not even that big of a deal.

Buy. This. Mattress.

Edit: I’ve slept on the mattress multiple times now, I’m a bigger woman, I just had a baby so I’m holding onto extra weight. The first couple times I slept on it I couldn’t feel the bar, but after a couple times the bar is definitely still there and still a pain in my ass. I’ve resorted to taking the mattress that came with the bed and putting the foam mattress on top of that to help with that and it’s pretty comfortable. This is still an amazing mattress and if you’re lighter you may not have as big of an issue. Also the smell still isn’t completely gone from the mattress so I’m going to keep it folded out during the week to try to get completely rid of it.

The mattress itself is incredibly comfortable, sleeper sofas just suck lol

Haven't slept a whole night on it yet but from what I've felt from it so far it is 1000X better than the original mattress that was on my hide-a-bed. I'm a 250lbs. guy and that metal bar that runs across the middle is a killer. couldn't even feel it with this thing. only one problem; what to do with that piece of junk I'm replacing with this mattress. I'm thinking some kind of bonfire. Like a Viking funeral for it or something. Add a pack of hotdogs or some marshmallows and it will prove more useful for that than it ever did as a mattress. I highly recommend this one.

This is a really nice mattress. We had an old sofa bed in our family room that we use as a guest bedroom. I started noticing my in-laws were bringing an air mattress on their visits and quietly complaining about how they're sleeping. So I replaced the old mattress with this one and also addressed some stretched out springs on the flat spring. They're very happy and can't thank me enough. They've even stopped using the egg crate and additional padding we had on the old mattress and left on this one. They didn't need it.

My only criticism is the setup. The mattress is delivered vacuum-sealed in plastic. When you break the seal and put it on the bed, the mattress expands with the change in air pressure. As it expands it gets softer and more comfortable. This is fine but takes a little while (like a day). It also outgasses a lot of volatile organic chemicals (VOC) that were sealed inside the packaging and the mattress itself. The mattress basically smells like glue or spray paint fumes for about a week. You need to air this out before you let your guests sleep on it. It is not ready to go out of the package immediately before someone has to sleep on it.

I read the reviews and thought I was buying a great replacement mattress for our sofa, boy was I wrong. It is said to be "medium-firm" but it is more like "no firmness at all." It is supposed to be 4.5 inches but is just barely over 3 inches. We thought that maybe we were sent the wrong product but the numbers match. For the life of me I can't figure out how this has so many good reviews. We will be returning it but not sure how we could possibly get it back in the box. So disappointed.

I put this mattress on my hide-a-bed couch. I was worried the frame would be uncomfortable through this thin mattress, but you can't even feel the bars underneath you. I tested it myself, and I have had 4 different family members over which all claim they slept well & comfortably on this mattress. Several people have mentioned a plastic smell in the reviews, which I admit was present upon opening, but it was not very strong for me. I let the bed lay on the frame unfolded with a window open next to it for about a day, and the smell went away.

Two adults slept on this replacement foam mattress on our old Hide-a-bed for 4 consecutive nights and pronounced it comfortable with no issues. My only issue is that the Classic website stated that there was a 25 year warranty with 10 years prorated but the company told me by email that it was 3 years, yet the mattress documentation says 1 year. I could have purchased a Cool Gel foam mattress with a 3 year warranty for the same money with another company.

I just unboxed it, so I'm assuming that it will eventually reach the 4.5 inches in thickness. I owned a similar mattress in the past, but it expanded within hours. I'll reserve judgment for a day or so, but then I may have to try to return it or by a mattress elsewhere. So far, I am disappointed...

update:
While it is a good mattress, based on previous experiences, it is not a good memory foam mattress. If it is, it is very poor quality. It:s more foam than memory foam. It doesnt conform and slowly return to shape like real memory foam. Foam yes, memory, not so much...

Nice mattress, but not solid enough to use as a sofa bed mattress independently. We have to roll it up and store it and then when ready to use, rolll it out on top the the old sofa bed mattress.
When it is rolllled into the sofa bed in looses its shape and thickness. You can feel the springs through it.

This is the best pull-out matress I have owned and probably the best value one you can find. I don't know why all pull out mattresses aren't memory foam! No springs in your side, and I cannot feel the bar underneath when sleeping on it. I weight around 155 lbs and I have slept on this mattress twice and both time had sleeps as good as sleeps in my regular bed. Have had many guests sleep on it, also saying it was the best sleep on a pull-out they have had.
