The material is nice but these are not 100% blackout. The sun still very much shines through the woven fabric as shown in the picture. I am very disappointed that they don't keep the light out considering they advertise that they do.

For my mother, when she complained to me that the sun was too strong, to buy a curtain that she could cover. I bought the darkest color, black, which perfectly blocked the sun. She felt very satisfied.

I bought these hoping they would block out some heat & light in order to cool our bedroom. But, what I received was not what exactly was described. They are definitely NOT true black out curtains at all. They do block out some light (def not all) & some heat, but when a product says black out, that’s what you sort of expect. I ordered the grayish white color. I did like the color, that was really nice. Perhaps the other colors might be actual black out curtains. But the Color I ordered was a light color and did not have any kind of black, or blocking material on them at all. But like I said perhaps the darker colors may be different.
THE MOST disappointing thing about these however, wasn’t the fact that they weren’t true black out curtains. Each package contains two panels… The two panels that I received we’re definitely sisters, however they were NOT twins! One panel was a FULL inch longer than the other! AND the hem on the bottom of each panel was so poorly done. One of them wasn’t even sewn all the way through and there was a big gap which formed a hole on the side of the hem that you could put your finger through. Not to mention the hem was not even straight & was uneven & crooked. Maybe it was done in the dark? I don’t really know… But it was very disappointing. I did return these and purchased actual blackout curtains that block out most of the heat and all of the light completely and they were constructed much better.

I thought these curtains wouldn't block out light because they're lighter tham I expected but do and they completely black out sun light and street lights. They feel buttery soft too. We absolutely love them and have ordered more!

I love these curtains. The color and texture of the fabric are exactly what I have been looking for. They look absolutely classy and they do a great job blocking out the sunlight during the day and make my room dark in the evening for a better sleep. Very happy about the purchase.

Compared with the final choice of many houses, it didn't disappoint me as expected. The curtains were very satisfied. Both the color and the blackout met my requirements. The workmanship was also very careful and the height was very appropriate

These work perfectly for my teenage daughter who sleeps super late. They really block the light. Super easy to hang. We prob should’ve ironed them first but hoping some of the wrinkles will fall out. Just bought more for our guest room.
