Bought this for my 18 mo old and it was definitely age-appropriate and I’m sure he would have loved it. However, the oven wouldn’t stay closed. I don’t know if this is a problem with the design or if we just got a dud. We’d close it and it would either immediately fall open or after about 10 seconds. The stickers on it were also kind of wonky in places where you can tell they weren’t placed right and had to be smoothed down and consequently wrinkled. Not a deal-breaker, but unattractive. Lastly, the design is kind of weird. The fridge part of it closes to the back of the oven. So when you’re playing with it you kind of have to do so from the side so you can open and close the fridge. Otherwise, you can just leave it open, but then you have to go around the toy to access the features “inside” the fridge. Just kind of a weird design choice in my opinion. Otherwise it’s pretty cute. I’m returning ours because the oven door issue is really annoying since it makes an animated noise every time it opens.

The only reason I couldn't give this toy a full 5 stars was because I had to return the first one. I bought it for my son for Christmas and when we opened it the batteries were dead. Which, I get that they're only there for "demo purposes" but I didn't expect them to be completely dead. My son still wanted to play with it, but once we got the batteries replaced the sink made oven noises and sang songs about baking and the oven made sink noises and sang about washing your hands. I requested a new one and it was sent out that day and arrived today working just fine.
My 9 month old loved it at Christmas and still does. he dances to the music loves to open and close the oven door. I keep it in Spanish to help him learn to speak spanish and i do to as well. I love that there are a few modes that have diffrent sounds so you dont have to hear "water on and water off" all day when he pushes the faucet. You can make it a water sound or music. It is a really cute toy its my favorite out of all the other ones he has. I dont get tired of listening to it all day. It Is really interactive we love it. I know some reviews have said they have screws sticking out,. or their child climbs on it. Mine does not have any imperfections and my child hasnt tried to climb on it at 11 months. Definitely recommend!
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 15 month old niece. Once she opened it she didn't want to play with anything else. She loves following me around the kitchen and tries to open my refrigerator. Having one of her own to open and close made her very happy. It didn't take long for her to figure out how to make everything work. the sounds are very realistic and she kept putting her hands under the faucet waiting for the water to come out. It's the perfect height for her so she can sit and play. There's enough to occupy her for a long time.
This was a total HIT! Fuels imagination and as she grows and learns, she’s more aware of what the stove and fridge actually do. The sounds are cute too, the boiling sound of the burner, the running water from faucet, the oven door sounds, the fridge light turns off and on, etc. I highly recommend this at a great price!
One of my daughters favorite toys ever. She absolutely loves it! I got it for her 1st birthday, assuming it’s size would accommodate. She has used it consistently for almost 1 1/2 years now. She loves the real life-like attributes that she sees me utilizing in the kitchen everyday. It has several modes and features that grow with the child. The only minor flaw, is the oven door has never latched to stay closed but I couldn’t exchange or return it because she would be upset to not have it for even that short time. Other than that, I’d highly recommend this toy!
My baby loves the kitchen, and I was looking for something enjoyable. I was Bit disappointed here. There is lots of potential...but the toy could be more challenging in order to be interesting by over 12 months old. More shapes to put in the refs (there are three) inside books hard papers (there are only two).
The refrigerator stays open which in personality found annoying. Overall I love Fisher Price, bit the could do a lot better here. The toy could be nice for up to 12 months old.
I bought this as a birthday gift for my one year old son because he loves the play kitchen my aunt has at her house. This kitchen was smaller then I thought, but I love it and so does he. It doesn’t take up much space but offers a lot of fun things to do. It does tip over easily, but that hasn’t been an issue thus far for us. I love the fun songs and the different settings it has. It’s refreshing noises compared to everything else that sings and talks for toys. I watch a 6 month old boy too who I think is also going to enjoy playing with this as he gets older. My son loves to open and close things right now so this offers him a great outlet for that with the fridge door and oven door.
Grandson loves this toy
Cheap! Not even in a proper Fisher Price box. The music and voice recording skips. It is cheaply assembled and extremely disappointing. Returned!
