Don't waste your money on any products from this company! Heed all of these negative reviews. I took a chance in spite of them, wound up in the same boat.

Bought bed in February, and it's broken by the beginning of July, after light use. I'm single and the only person who has ever been in the bed. Materials are VERY CHEAP. I sat down on the edge of the bed, and the hardware for one of the side supports ripped right through it. The opposite end of the same side support had already developed a crack where the footboard hardware installs. The company has no replacement parts. They actually open an existing bed to get replacement parts, and will only do so within 30 days of purchase. What major appliance or piece of furniture have you ever seen with a 30 day manufacturer's warranty? None. And then to not even have replacement parts that can at least be purchased? This company is about as good as its products; NOT VERY. And that's being nice.

I bought the queen black one for my older daughter’s bedroom and the twin she used to have went to my younger that had outgrown her toddler bed. It was well packaged, there was no damage at all. Everything fits perfect together. The bed is sturdy and I don’t see that it can break easily as the wood is somewhat thick (more than the IKEA bed we had in the bedroom before). It is easy to assemble (I was able to do it alone in 1 hour). I got a 9 inches spring box and a 8 inches matress and it was the perfect height to not show the space between the slats and the bottom of the headboard.

We purchased Home Styles 5531-500 Bedford Queen Bed Black Ebony Finish as a birthday gift for our youngest daughter to replace her twin bed.

We went to several area furniture stores and either she did not like it or they were overpriced for inferior materials and workmanship.

We decided on this Home Style bed based on construction, customer reviews, and cost provided by Amazon with free shipping.

The bed is very solid the way it is constructed and has an excellent smooth Black finish. Bed was delivered in 3 separate boxes and packaged properly to arrive undamaged.

Easy instructions and Home Styles does provide tools for assembly. We did not use these tools we used our own 4mm Allen hex and13mm wrench.

I would like to advise caution not to over tighten connections when assembling Head Board, no assembly required for Foot Board other than attaching rails and once you have loosely attached bed rails to Head and Foot boards use a tape measure to square bed and then tighten rails and attach slats.

Our daughter is very happy with her new bed and I am very pleased with materials, quality, workmanship and cost.

My husband put it together in about an hour. He said it was very well built and is solid wood. I also think it is sturdy. We both like the look of the frame a lot. It is a true black and just what we wanted to go with our nightstands and the classy look of our bedroom. The headboard is a nice size for accommodating several pillows, so I plan to buy more. I think the frame has three slats that connect from side to side on the bottom to support the box springs and the mattress, and they have adjustable height knobs on the bottom of the support legs (one for each slat) that touch the floor. I bought some furniture coasters at Home Depot to put under them, because we have wood floors, so it is good to have them in advance. One note of caution- do not lay tools on the headboard when you are putting the bed together like my husband did, because he scratched it a little bit, but luckily the scratches are barely visible and low, behind where the pillows will be, so I was relieved about that. All in all, I am so happy with our choice. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this frame.

This is a great black bed for a relatively low price. I was looking at PB beds and they were ridiculously expensive....and there were a lot of bad reviews out there about shipping/damage issues that PB was ignoring. I then started looking on Wayfair and all their other similar companies and found this exact bed except it was well over $400. I didn't order right away, hoping Cyber Monday would offer a price reduction, but no such luck. So I looked on Amazon and once agan they came through so I ordered it right away. It was delivered in 3 heavy boxes with lots of packing around everything and not an ounce of damage. I laid it out on the floor to assemble the headboard which took me about 20 minutes, then moved it all into place and put it together. I am a 67 year old woman and did not have a single problem with assembling. I put my box spring and my heavy ComforPedic mattress on, made the bed and slept like a baby! I totally love that the footboard is much lower than top of my mattress. One of my big dogs got his leg stuck between the mattress and footboard (which was same height as mattress) on my previous bed and we both freaked out. Won't happen again!!

Be sure to have an electric screwdriver and match the attachment before starting because there are a lot of screws. Both of the sideboards had areas where the holes were not predrilled as they should have been. I called the company and told them that both sideboards were not drilled and they sent out 1 sideboard. The bed is beautiful. I was a bit confused when the directions said not to slide the bed because I like to rearrange my bedroom.

I love this bed, but I'm always concerned how long it will actually last. It doesn't seem very sturdy, mainly in the headboard area. I can't say I would purchase it again given the option.
