My parent's kitchen faucet needed to be replaced and I was looking for an inexpensive item that still looked good. When I came across this faucet, seeing that it came with touch functionality I decided to give it a try, but I wasn't expecting a lot for this price (have a friend who paid several hundred dollars for a brand name touch faucet.

When I received the item and unbox it, I was impressed to see what looked to be a high-quality faucet with pull out sprayer, and the battery-powered control to activate the water. The faucet itself is thick and fairly heavy and doesn't feel cheap at all. None of the connections or the handle feel cheap, and even the pullout head (which is plastic like they all are) matches the nickel perfectly and feels great. It has a 2 position sprayer that always returns to the single-stream when the water is turned off.

The installation wasn't bad at all. I followed the fairly simple directions and got everything hooked up. The touch feature worked right away, I was impressed. You just need 4 AA batteries but they supposedly last a year and the touch feature is amazing. You adjust the faucet to the temperature and flow you want, and a simple tap anywhere on the metal faucet and it turns on. Tap again and it turns off. I didn't realize how great it would be until I started using it, always having the flow exactly the same is great.

So there are no leaks and the faucet works great. It looks fantastic and it wasn't difficult to install at all. There are models costing several times more than this and while this isn't a brand people have heard of, but the quality is good and I'm very happy with the overall product.

Ok, I purchased this because I hated my old faucet. It was full of calcium deposits and the pressure sucked. I only purchased this one because I needed a new one, this was a cheap price and looked great. I will say it was slightly bigger than I expected by a few inches. If you have a small sink, I would expect this to overpower the look. For me, we plan on replacing our sink with a deep sink so it wasn't a huge issue. I did not expect the touch. I truthfully bought it because it looked great and was cheap. I clearly missed that there was a touch feature. I figured I would test it out. I never heard of a touch faucet before so I hooked it up and tried it out. It worked fairly well most of the time, but there were times I couldn't get it to work correctly. I almost gave it a smaller amount of stars, but realized it's not a needed feature. It's a great, well built faucet, but the touch had some problems. I did hear if you don't use the metal base that it will work better and for my deep sink when it comes in, I will buy it with one hole, but I have to have the metal base for it with my current sink. The touch feature was convenient for sure and I will try it again with the new sink and report back. You can remove the touch feature or just disconnect the battery and it will work like a normal faucet. Anyways, like I said, I bought it for the look. It's a great price, It's a durable product, It was insanely easy to install. I gave myself 3 hours and only needed 30 minutes. Don't laugh I've never installed one before, but it was easy. You don't need a plumber at all. Definitely worth the effort and price

I often make things harder than necessary and over-think each step. The “picture” instructions leave a little to be desired. I don’t think I was missing any parts, but the pictures didn’t exactly match the parts I had. Finally, I replaced a two handle faucet. After spending some time above the sink making sure everything was how I wanted it, I went under the sink to find a plumbing air vent directly under the center hole. This faucet has all lines through the center hole plus the further extension of the on/off device below that as well as the hose loop for the sprayer. I wasn’t sure it was going to work, but I was able to make it happen. The sprayer is not as smooth as I would have liked due to the retraction weight bouncing off that vent pipe, but it works fine.
All that said, the installation was not difficult. Everything works well. Quality is much better than I expected. No leaks below and no drips above. And it looks great.
I honestly thought the touch on/off was going to be a novelty, but after just a week, I’m really liking it and it really is handy.

This product is actually good.., I found that sometimes we as a whole judge too quickly ... first I was like this item was a hit or miss but the reality is I had something touching the faucet which kept it from working the way it supposed to work, After remove the thing that was cause mthe y faucet to be faulty the faucet actually works great... so five stars for the GAPPO Touch Faucet.,,
