Linenspa 6-Inch Innerspring Mattress - Twin

Linenspa 6-Inch Innerspring Mattress - Twin

Read reviews that mention:

I bought this mattress because it was cheap and had decent reviews. I wasn't expecting anything super nice, just needed guest beds.
This is basically a bunch of coils with a thin layer of fabric. You can feel every coil when you lay down and I'd honestly rather sleep on the ground.

So initially I was upset because I was guaranteed delivery today (December 16) and my delivery date kept changing- but suddenly it was on my doorstep so that made me happy. Another thing that worried me we’re other reviews that the mattress was not 6 inches.
When I got the package, I opened it and cut the plastic off of the mattress and it immediately started to rise. I left it alone for about an hour and when I came back I measured it, and fortunately mine measured at 6 inches! I laid on the matress myself and it was comfy and firm. It fit my sons bed perfectly, it’s a good bang for your buck. Although I started off with an uneasy feeling about this mattress it really delivered and I am satisfied now.
comes in a box rolled and vacuum sealed.
Easy handling and opening.
Mattress is 6" and PERFECT fit for bunk beds.
Springs are a tad noticeable but with pad on you don't feel them at all (at least thats what kids say).
I would NOT buy for adults as I can feel them even with pad.
Comes with 10 year warranty.
All being said its a great value.
Comfortable matress! Great for the price!
Not bad
Very satisfied with this purchase. Baby boy now has a big boy bed. I slept in it last night to test it out. I'm 150lbs and bed was comfortable for me so I know it will be great for my 5 year old.
The mattress arrived in a box, rolled and suction packed. I was a little concerned at the quality, but once the packaging was released, it came to life and is a very comfortable mattress for only 6 inches. I am thinking about buying another one, to have as a spare!
My husband and I love this bed. It is very firm but comfortable. We ended up adding a small foam pad to it, but it was great even without it. (my husband likes a little softer than I do.) I would recommend this mattress to everyone. Just a heads up. Make sure you let it sit for at least a day before you use it so it can form. We opened it and let it sit for several days then we moved it to our new room.
This spring mattress is weaker than a deflated air mattress. I'm 150 pounds and sitting on it puts my bottom straight to the bed board below. It comes vacuum sealed and compressed into a 50x50 ish box so you can get an idea of how weak those springs are. Not sure why I didn't believe those bad reviews, because the 5 star ones are most likely fake. Unless you're buying this for a kid that's under 50lbs, don't even bother with this one.
Purchased 2 of these 6in linenspa mattresses for my childrens bunkbed about a month ago. I'd have to say they've far exceeded my expectations for their intended purpose. Perfect for children!

They came delivered rolled up in boxes, all I had to do was cut the plastic wrap open. They expanded to their full size quickly and did not have any chemical smell. For the price you can't go wrong, and they're low enough to be safely used in a bunkbed.

I wouldn't recommend these mattresses for someone over 120lbs. I tried it out myself and you can definitely feel the springs. I think a memory foam topper would help for adults or students on a budget, if they were interested in purchasing this mattress.
Bought this for my daughter's 'big girl bed'. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as comfortable as it is. Considering it was vacuum packed, it's still bouncy and firm but the top is soft and cushy. It's been about a month and she loves it
Changing my review as after only 2 weeks this mattress feels flat and uncomfortable and the equivalent to sleeping on only the bedframe and this is WITH a mattress topper... would return but kinda difficult to return something so large.. so before buying this, do think about how insanely difficult it would be to return should you not enjoy it. For reference I am 105lbs and this mattress was not at all comfortable or sufficient within only two weeks....

I did not find there to be any smell and it expanded almost immediately. However, it severely lacks in comfort. My air mattress was comfier...
An Opinion:
I am a candidate for surgery soon.
I bought it to put on top of a mattress to make the bed higher.
May be then the getting up and laying down won't be as difficult during recovery.
It is amazing that such a big mattress can be vacuum pack and sent in a box 1/5 the size.
The springs are made of metal. It is not a hard mattress. I'd call it a gentle mattress.
The colors are fine, but who cares about the colors, it is always covered up anyways.
Once out of the box lay it down on the flooring or the bed if there is no space.
Be careful cutting open the plastic protection cover and avoid cutting the mattress.
Cut it a little and also tear it open too. Repeat.
When you make the first cut of the plastic, air will be released with a sound.
And the mattress immediately expands into its size.
Remarkably fantastic.
This mattress comes in a very small box and I almost mistook it for a foam mattress. It is not of course but is like super vacuum packed! You must be very careful removing the plastic with a knife because it is under so much pressure you could accidentally cut the mattress. Once it pops open and relaxes, it isn't a bad mattress but for the price you can't expect something super comfy.

It's a fine mattress for the price and speed of delivery. My super comfy airbed of ten years finally deflated and I needed something fast to replace it, having no mattress shop close to me. I'm 120lbs and don't feel the springs, as some people do. As for the smell; there was a scent when first opened, something like just-washed wet laundry, but only noticeable if I put my nose right up agaisnt the mattress. It wasn't an objectionable smell; my husband actually liked it. :-) The smell was gone the next day. I left the mattress overnight with a fan blowing on it, but I also damp sponged it with baking soda, which you should do with a coil mattress about every 3 months. Naturally the mattress is of a different firmness than my airbed was, and while this firmness is new to me, I don't find it uncomfortable, though a foam topper would be a nice addition.
Very nice mattress
The product came nicely packaged but other then that not happy. I understand when purchasing this mattress that it has springs in it. However, I didn't know it would be super uncomfortable for my son to sleep on. He hates going to bed on the mattress at night. He'd rather sleep with his blankets and pillow on his bedroom floor. He says the springs are very hard and hurt sleeping on. When I contacted Amazon to return the product for a refund they informed me I had to get it back into the box. When I explained and had him watch the video how the mattress comes he then suggested that I take the mattress as is to the UPS and they will just ship it as an open mattress. I thought this sounds extremely odd and didn't want to waste my time struggling to get the twin mattress into my compact SUV to be turned away at UPS so I called the UPS location nearest me. They told me that I was incorrectly informed and that it needs to be packaged I can't just ship an open twin mattress. So now I'm stuck with a terrible mattress, an unhappy child and a loss of $140.00! If I could give a zero star or 1/2 star that'd be my pick but the minimum star is 1!
The 6 year old loves it. So far her jumping (2 months) on it has not degraded it. We let it expand for a few days prior to putting it in to service. Mom slept on it two nights just to check it out and characterized it as 'okay for grown ups but better for youth'.
Seems well made. Looks like it will last. Glad we bought it.
I was very unsure about purchasing this item after reading some of the reviews below, but figured trying it out for this price is a must. We purchased the mattress for the new toddler bed. Item came much faster than expected, even for the Prime shipment – koodos to Amazon for that!
Came in one long package. Mattress was rolled up, covered by 2 different plastic packages with air sucked out of it. As soon as we made a cut in both plastic covers the mattress began to unroll and….long story short, we didn’t have to wait more than an house to get it into the bed and have an excited toddler climbing all over it.
We are very happy with the purchase! Great price, great product! Thank you.
You get what you pay for and we didn't pay much... So we are happy with what we got, it's perfect for our daughter. It certainly isn't a high end super comfortable mattress. But for a two year old it is perfectly fine! And you cannot go wrong with the price.

Seems like we will get many Years use out of it before she will eventually want something a little more comfortable.
Perfect mattress. Bought this for the kids bunk bed in our cabin. It's plenty comfortable for kids and I'm 200+ lbs and slept on it to try it out and felt no springs or discomfort. Highly recommended. Prices for these anywhere else at the store is $250+
Love the firmness. Good enough support for a young child or a small person. Hubby is 230 lbs but he says its comfortable and doesn't feel the springs so I think that says something. No offgassing or any smell that others said they experienced. It didn't smell like anything at all which was good. It also didn't take long to puff up to its six inches thickness so that was a plus in that it could be used after a couple of hours. All in all, its a good buy.
