I searched FOREVER & finally found my dog's dream bed. I bought this to fit in side the ELuxury wood bed frame. This bed in size L (36x28) fits snugly into the M size (36x27) ELuxury frame. I covered this bed w a crib mattress pad (w stretch elastic sides) & a fitted crib sheet - so I could just rip the pad/ fitted sheet off for easy washing. It's a little "work" changing the sheets, but easier than stripping the cover off & reassembling the bed. Plus the bed / cover will last longer covered - and not being washed so much.

Besides the great fit in my bedframe, the memory foam base is dense & soft - exactly what my tripod bull terrier loves to sleep on. The other thing that has worked exceptionally well is the size/ positioning of the bolsters. Not sure what the deal is, but I bought 3 other bolster beds in this exact same size, & the bolsters on those beds all took up much more of the interior space than this bed. This bed has 4 inches more length on the interior than those other beds - which makes a big difference in my dog's ability to fit comfortably in it. He took to this bed immediately - this photo is 5 minutes after I assembled it & put the sheets on it. The foam expanded immediately - I had to hurry to get it inside the plastic cover before it 'blew up'.

My dog is 55 lbs - size L (36x28) bed is a great fit. He can stretch out if he wants, but most of the time he likes to curl up like a cat when he sleeps. When curled, there is plenty of interior room left inside the bolsters. I bought this bed on Amazon warehouse deals ('like new' for $107) - and while expensive, it is superior to the $50 beds I purchased at Home Goods, & even nicer than the beds I looked at at Petsmart - which were $150 - $175. This is a premium quality bed for a decent price.

Unfortunately after having this bed for only 3 months the zipper no longer functions. Between purchase and failure it has only been unzipped and had its foam removed twice.

This is advertised as having YKK zippers....this is false information. I YKK zipper has 'YKK' imprinted on the pull tab and has metal teeth. This zipper has 'PF' imprinted on the pull tab and has plastic teeth. It is definitely not a YKK product.

The whole reason to buy this bed over others is if it had a strudy YKK zipper. The zipper is almost always the first component to go out on a pet bed. In this case not only is this bed just like the other cheapies for sale, but they are falsely advertising what it is made out of.
My pup loves this bed! He is 92 pounds, and I was debating for a few days between the XL and Jumbo size. I read a ton of reviews before buying, so I know how important this is! I went with jumbo and I'm glad I did. It is huge, like some of the reviews said but my dog loves to stretch out when he sleeps and he fills up pretty much all of the jumbo. I think it's important when you're deciding on a size to not just think about the weight, but also the length of your dog, his arms/legs and his sleeping style. Does your dog curl up or stretch out? Although my dog doesn't typically like resting his head on top of a pillow/bolster he loves to have one there to rest it next to. He is 3 yrs, and had a knee injury earlier this year, so I wanted to make sure there was enough room on the platform for him to lay comfortably. Plus, I anticipate him having a doggie roommate/friend sometime in the future, and there's plenty of room for him and his future BFF to cuddle.

Only drawback was trying to get the liner over the memory foam- it was a work out! If it had more zipper all around the liner that would've helped.

This is a quality bed at a decent price and I 100% recommend it. The memory foam is thick and my dog seems extremely happy with it. He is literally snoring next to me on his new bed as I write this.
We purchased the Large Brown bed less than a month ago for our two dogs to share and it was the perfect size. For reference, our dogs are full grown at 10-15 lbs each. They both have enough room to sprawl out comfortably and they love it.

What I personally love most about this bed is that you can remove each part - the bolster, memory foam base, water-resistant liner (for the base) and the actual cover. This makes washing it a breeze. The fabric cover for the bolster foam isn't paper-thin like our last dog bed (which ripped). The memory foam base is actually memory foam (not that egg crate material) and has its own separate water-resistant cover which is handy in case of any accidents. And the actual cover seems very durable (our dogs like to scratch at the bed before settling in).

We did encounter one very minor snafu. The zipper for the bolster kept snagging initially... I think it was because it was too taut. However, one quick email with pictures to PetFusion and they sent us a replacement cover immediately.

I would definitely recommend this bed to other dog owners. It was priced on the higher end of our budget, but its quality is worth it.
Size large is a bit too small for 70 lbs German Shepherd, although it doesn't seem to bother her :) great, good quality bed for the price, just wish I got xl so she can stretch out on it.
I have an 80 lb lab mix who absolutely loves this bed - as soon as I got the foam cushion in and put it on the floor, he trotted right over and laid down.

Very simple to put together, I definitely recommend following the suggestion on the directions and putting the foam cushion in right away before it has a chance to fully inflate. The cover fits snug around the cushion and "head rests", so there is little chance for snagging/tearing on the dog's nails. As you can see in the picture, my large dog has more than enough room - he is a taller lab mix and still has plenty of room when his legs are fully extended.

As with all memory foam pads, there was an odor when it was first opened. I would say the odor dissipated over about 2-3 days and is not noticeable any more.

Buddy is 12.5 years old, so he is a napping connoisseur and he fully approves of his new bed.
OMG DO NOT PUT THIS DOG BED NEAR A FIRE!!! A tiny spark came out wood burner and literally within seconds this dog bed was fully ablaze filling the room with the most toxic black smoke - I only just managed to get it outside and it burned furiously for 10minutes. Absolute fire Hazard !!!!
When it started to melt an oil like substance leaked out that burned like nothing I’ve seen before !! I feel we had a lucky escape, totally un fire retardant!!!!!!
Hi my name is Murphy, I am a 12.5 year old black Labrador. My mum noticed that although I am remarkable for my age I was grumbling a bit as I lay down and a bit restless, despite already having a very good magnetic therapy bed. I had slowed up a little on my walks too. Mum decided some overtime was in order so she could treat me to a Human grade memory foam orthopaedic lounger. When it arrived I knew it was for me and I eagerly waited for it to be set up then I got in. I was sleeping deeply within minutes and I have a bigger spring to my step again. I have the XL as I am a big Labrador and this is plenty big enough. The headrest are an important feature as I like to use them a lot. I had a separate pillow on my old bed. I tell anyone who will listen about my bed and mum says it's the best money she ever spent. I have to agree. I LOVE IT. From Murphy.
lovely bed for my elderly boxer. Very supportive thick memory foam base and she loves the cushion roll at the top to rest her head on. I bought the large size for her after going through all the reviews and photographs and it fits her perfectly. very pleased with purchase
I bought this for my Malamute who has hip dysplacia. It is soooo comfy (as obviously I've had a go in it) I have 3 dogs and they all love it, but my malamute just seems to know it's for her. You get what you pay for and that is extreme quality.
My boys are now jealous though so looks like I will have to get 2 more! Even the cat has been caught on it.
I now don't worry about their comfort when I'm out at work.
Fabulous delivery & luxury.
Highly recommend.
Bought the Jumbo size for our 10 year old 33 kilos lab to ease his Wobbler's syndrome (back and neck pain) and ageing hips. He loves it and so did our 2 year old Beagle. But as she got in, he would hop out - even thought there was plenty of space for both, so we just received the Large we ordered for her. Small would probably have been cosier but would not have allowed her to stretch. Will be buying the extra covers and blankets soon! How about making some matching cushions so they can be made 'smaller' for a change?
My dyspraxic Irish Wolfhound puppy (yes, that IS a puppy!) and my equally clumsy Irish Wolfhound cross dog love these extra large beds so much that they don't spend half as much time bounding across the house, breaking things including pets of humans. The beds are ridiculously expensive but, according to my partner (who refused to let me take his photograph to put on Facebook while he was trying out the beds, for some reason), they are extremely comfortable. It also means we don't have to sit on the floor while the three dogs lie around on the sofas. Result!
Both of my pets absolutely love this bed! Taco the pug immediately stretched out and started playing around as she always does when she's happy and comfortable. As soon as she left the bed Molly the cat completely occupied the bed, which I did not expect as she never showed any interest in pet beds. I am very satisfied with the purchase, but I'm afraid I'll have to buy another one if the pets don't share haha!
I bought the jumbo size bed for my very large Labrador. There is loads of room for him to stretch out and also room for his favourite very large stuffed toy. It is big enough for a normalish size person to lie on if they are curled up a bit.

He has had several attempts to dig in the bed with no sign of any wear or scratches. He has destroyed a leather sofa in the past so I'm impressed with how strong the cover is on the PetFusion bed.

The top cushion around the side is perfect for him to rest his head on. The memory foam base is very thick and seems to be comfortable. The base comes rolled up and vacuum packed. The instructions suggest putting the base inside the cover when it is still not back to full size - definitely worth doing.

It was a lot of money but it looks like it will last years and the dog loves it.
I have two dogs; a seven year old German Shepherd (Bruce) and a three year old Cockerpoo (Toby). They’ve always slept together so I have to buy very large dog beds - mainly those oversized pillows that retail for around £20. Like everyone else I did mull over the economical feasibility of this bed, but Bruce was showing signs of arthritis and needed something more comfortable and supportive for his aching joints.

I read all the (excellent) reviews and looked at the long term benefits of buying such an expensive dog bed compared to my usual (much cheaper) choice of bed. Ultimately I came to the relatively easy decision that my dear Bruce deserved something better than a lumpy pillow for his old age. Despite this I still had to squeeze my eyes shut when I pressed the ‘buy now’ button - at just under £180 for the largest size it did sting!! However, once I’d put it together and my dogs immediately fell asleep on it, I knew that I’d made the right decision. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another of these beds - though I don’t envisage having to replace mine for a very long time.

The XXL size is bigger than I thought it would be and takes up A LOT of space, I’ve actually had to rearrange the furniture to accommodate it but both Bruce and Toby have ample room to either stretch out or snuggle up. As you can see from the pictures they look extremely comfortable and once they’re in the bed for the evening they’re happy to stay there!

The bed arrived within 24hrs in a very large box - be careful when opening it if you’re using something sharp! The memory foam base is what makes this bed so heavy - it’s a really thick slab of quality memory foam (about 6”) and takes quite a bit of effort to get it into the waterproof pillowcase. Once you’ve mastered that the next bit is much easier; just unzip the bed base, place the memory foam inside the space and zip it back up.

This is a heavy bed, it doesn’t really need the non-slip base as the weight of the memory foam stops it from moving around. The bolster pillow offers plenty of support - a bit like one of those firm Tempura pillows - and I can’t see how it will ever sag as it’s so thick and rigidly attached to the base. Bruce weighs just over 40kgs and likes to snuggle his head into the bolster, yet it hasn’t lost its shape at all.

Initially I let Bruce and Toby sleep on the bed just as it was, but I quickly realised that it needed some protection from the unavoidable stains two mucky dogs create, so I tucked a fleecy blanket into it. As luck would have it the blanket just happened to be a nice shade of charcoal grey that blended perfectly with the slate grey colour of the bed
