Had no idea that our “All Inclusive” would include complimentary bed bugs. I had done a pretty thorough check of the bed before we unpacked, but apparently I didn’t know where to look because the two days later our kids broke out with a dozen bites each and my wife had welts on her face and hands. From what I’ve read, this seems like the problem is becoming more common. The receptionist sent housekeeping to investigate, but they couldn’t find any evidence either. Apparently these things can hide anywhere. We managed to switch rooms after talking to the manager, but what a pain. Our next concern was what to do when we got home to make sure we left the little buggers in Mexico. Bought this product and it was good knowing that nothing would be coming home. We washed some of our dirty clothes in hot water, but left everything else in the suitcases for treatment. The unit worked as advertised and we’ll surely keep using it for many years to come.

We finally got rid of our bed bugs last summer and wanted to make sure that we were protected before our next trip. When you look at some of the travel sites, it seems like every resort has had bed bugs at one point or another. A friend has been using her Ranger for years after every trip and we went with this one since it was the new design. I feel good that this product is going to last. It’s extremely well built and fit all of our suitcases. If you travel a regular sized suitcase you should be fine.

The unit comes with a Thermometer to check the temperatures and a built in timer. Our suitcase reached 120F without having to unpack it in about 3 and half hours. We let it run for another hour after that just to be on the safe side. If you don’t want to use the thermometer, the timer will shut off in 2, 4, or 8 hours.

Will post more pictures later.
I got bed bugs over the summer. Thankfully, I could use the sun and black plastic bags to cook my luggage, so I needed an alternative for winter just in case. I used the 8 hours setting, and my shoes were warped and ruined. Next trip I'm using the 2 hours setting since using it is precautionary. But if I have any signs of bed bugs, I'll ruin my shoes. Also, remove any toiletry bags since it melted my deodorant, pills, mascara, eyeliner, bandages.
I think this is such a clever idea that far exceeds the notion of blowing hot air. I am fighting a minor bed bug infestation and find the size is perfect for my small apartment. There is room for three pillows. Anything that is in the proximity of my bed will spend at least two hours inside the "box." Thank you for including the thermometer, but I would encourage you to package the batteries so that they can be found. It is nice that you provide the battery size (LR44) in the ad and Amazon will have replacement batteries to me the day after tomorrow. The best way that I can describe the product is to say that you buy a box and paste six heating pads on each of the walls; although building this yourself will never be as nice as buying this cleverly designed box.

Two days later: I found the two batteries on the floor; so, open your package carefully. The digital thermometer opens a whole new dimension to the brilliance of this product; I no longer have to keep sticking a meat thermometer in to check the temperature. I like the feature of registering the low and high thermometer, so as to make sure you reach that temperature over 117 degrees.
I like this bag, but I find that the bag does not provide enough dry heat. Even after 8 hours in tbe bag my clothes feel somewhat damp. Nevertheless, the bag provides an added measure of security.
We bought this for peace of mind as we deal with a small bed bug problem. The size is great and it works well.
I worked at an apartment infested with bed bugs. It was gross i bought this to have peice of mind after a trip. Works great super heavy duty heater bag
plenty of room. have seen no bugs although place of employment had infestation.
I have a clothes moth problem and Bought this to treat my wardrobe. While I haven’t got through all my clothes yet I like how compact this is to store and the price is great when compared to similar products. It’s nice to have around as insurance when you are travelling. No bed bugs for me!
The ranger is easy to set up and saved my life from bed bugs. I put everything into the ranger that I could and beat them!!!
