After the cat mat was delivered to my home, I pasted it on the furniture as soon as possible. I watched secretly, and the cat did go back to catch these cat pads. It was really amazing. Fortunately, I have these cat pads, otherwise I would be miserable.

Both sides are very sticky meaning that the exposed side will eventually become covered in dirt, dust, hair and anything else floating around in your house, meaning that you'll either have to live with that or replace when necessary. Or find another product. It will also stick to you as you walk past your furniture if you or anyone else happens to brush up against it. Forget using this with kids.

There's no reason for the outside surface to be sticky. No reason at all.

Also, the tab that doesn't have any writing on it, the one that should pull off the white paper, just rips right off. You'll need to use a fingernail or a knife or razor blade to separate the paper from the plastic. I've installed 4 pieces so far and all of them were the same. The tab just tears right off and leaves the white paper untouched.

Once the ones I've installed get completely disgusting with dirt, dust, hair and anything else floating around in my house, I'll be removing them and finding another way to protect my furniture.

Not recommended for protecting furniture. Might make good fly paper. (Flies, another thing that will probably end up stuck to the surface.)

Great product. 8pieces for your replace! Adhesive is good for narrower corner areas. Large size and can be cut the size what you want! I might order another pack. We're very happy that our furniture are protected now.

It is easy to tape it on the couch. Double sided adhesive. It’s sticky so my kitten don’t like it. So far I haven’t realized my kitten scratch my couch. That’s good news. It prevents him from scratching. It’s not hurt to try it. It can also stick anything on top of it. So it may require often change if the adhesive is no longer sticky.

I have two cats, and I’ve tried countless protection products to keep them from tearing up my furniture. I bought a new couch and refused to have this one torn up as well. I decided to try a new product as none of the old ones I tried worked. I’ve only had it installed for a few days, but so far so good. It seems like it will lose its sticky after a while, but my cats put their claws on it and lost their minds. They haven’t touched the couch since.
