As soon as I put the cover on the bed and put it down on the ground, Xena I knew exactly what it was. She went right over and laid on it. Sbat is really cool because the outer cover comes off and you can wash it in the wash machine. The material it is made out of is super soft. I don't know how to describe it but it seems like a plush velour. Her son Cooper, was actually jealous getting it and let her know about it.I uploaded a video so you can see how big this extra large pet bed is. Xena weighs 60 lb and her son Cooper ways 55 pounds. Both of them can fit on this pad bed when Xena is not hogging it up for herself. It is much nicer than the one that it replaces and I highly recommend this one if you're reading my review.
Really nice memory foam almost 3” thick. The pad does not sink all the way to the floor when I press on it. The bed seems really sturdy, the suede material is soft, feels like microfiber. It’s much more stylish than any other dog beds I have owned. My 18# terrier mix wasn’t so sure about it the first day, probably because of its firmness, and it’s not as fuzzy as his old one. He’s a serious nester. But I put a couple of extra blankets in with him....Now he can get himself all wrapped up like he usually does. He did not move for 8 hours in the office today while I was working. **Update 9/3/18**...My dog likes this bed better than his other beds. There are no rips or tears anywhere even after vacuuming and the after bath zoomies. It has a much larger sleeping area than it appears to be when you first look at it. Initially I was worried that the bolster wasn’t puffy enough, but it seems perfect, because my dog often rests his head and or legs on it when he’s sleeping. There are no indentations on the mattress where my dog usually lays (most of the time he lays the same way on the same spot—weird, right?). I will buy again when it’s time to replace his other beds.
