Using this as a bed for my dogs. They love it.

Easy to assemble, sturdy and my toddler loves it! The only reason for my 4 out of 5 stars is the. Holes for bolts to the legs are all missaligned by 1/4"-1/2" for the headboard and footer. This missalignment is causing the leg posts not to sit flush in the slots and the metal legs tend to pinch your fingers if your on the bed and have the leg. My son loves the bed and I am afraid if I return it for an exchange the replacement will also be the same way. I don't want to waist my hour worth of assembly time if its going to end up with the same issue. My solution is unfortunately placing masking tape around the top of the leg to prevent pinching. Maybe mine is the only one that is misaligned or perhaps other parents didn't notice it or see it was a big enough issue. None to less we are happy with the bes and my son couldn't be happier.
Bed is very sturdy, but has only three thin metal bars to support mattress, one at head, on in middle and one at foot. If you have a mattress like we do (ikea memory foam crib mattress) that does not have an internal wood frame or coil springs, then the mattress sags badly as the mesh fabric holding the mattress on the bottom is stretchy and where the middle bar is humps up so kid sinks at head and legs and is uncomfortably supported by the middle bar What you need is a bed slat system that can support the mattress evenly throughout. Delta's other toddler beds (wooden ones) apparently have slats from what I can gather from their assembly instructions, but these plastic/metal beds don't. For $20 bucks more get the wooden beds if your mattress has no wood frame or internal support; you can always find Anna and Elsa stickers to make it a theme bed.

Since I bought two of these themed plastic/metal beds already and kids fell in love with the looks I decided to keep them and fix the problem by screwing in an appropriate bed slat system. I used the ikea Luroy bed slat set ($10) and screwed each slat in to create an even surface. I used were stainless steel #12 sheet metal pan head screws. Went easier than I thought though I had to drill pilot holes in metal and wood slats with a 11/64 drill bit. See attached picture. I am sure someone more handy than me can come up with a more elegant solution!
Perfect size for mybdaughter. If you look at photos you'll see it isn't very high off floor, so if any falls while sleeping, they won't get too hurt. (yes I know it has rails but if your child is like mine, they tend to move around while asleep and can get to end where they could roll off. In fact she did fall out her first night, but for back up and in bed and fell back to sleep like nothing happened) I took pic also with it next to our bed to show the difference of height. The end rod I messed up on. Thought I slid it through the fabric loop, but apparently I didn't. The mattress has good support though so not worried. She loves it. Was excited when it arrived but I had to wait for mattress and I had to get sheets before I put it together. Once put together she wanted to sleep right away, but it was way too early. Lol

Was easy to assemble. The only problem I had was at the foot of bed. The space between the board and the leg was a bit snug to get my fingers through so I could hold the piece in place while turning the screw. Other than that, was easy. If wasn't for my toddler trying to "help", it wouldn't have taken me long either. Lol

Normally I don't post pictures with my daughter for public viewing, but figured it would help in showing the height of bed compared to a toddler her size.
Here is the review in it's totality:

Overall - Sturdily made bed, and a good size. The biggest pro is the stability and the biggest con is the slightly rough edges of the beams. In detail:

Sturdiness: This bed has been quite well made - that is the most important part. My daughter sometimes asks for her mother to lie down with her, and quite surprisingly, this bed has handled that weight.

Assembly: For someone who is used to putting up IKEA furniture, this wasn't a tough thing to put up. It does have its screws and stuff, but quite easy to put up.

Looks: the Bed looks quite well, with the stickers and all that. The parts are made of plastic, so that's something to live with. The height is good for small toddlers.

The biggest issue that i have with this is that the steel beams that make up the frame are open in either side of the bed . Although it is not in the way of the child getting up or getting in, but since it is exposed, there are chances that it can scratch the kids leg.

I would also recommend getting a good mattress that fits this bed well.
I absolutely love my babygirls BIG girl Elmo bed and so does she! I definitely think it is worth the price and way bigger than I could have imagined which is Awesome! I am a very happy customer and so is my Happy Little Toddler
