3/10/2019 Update: As I wrote in my initial review, the tonneau cover only latches on one side (rail) and not both. Consequently, during a 600 mile trip from Charlotte, NC to Orlando, FL, the tonneau cover popped off the latch during my highway only drive and allowed for water to enter my bed. I have reduced this product to three stars as a result and will pursue a solution to secure both sides.

Disclaimer: I have owned several soft low-profile tonneau covers by various manufacturers and present this review with that in mind. All pictures are from this product.

I purchased this tonneau cover for my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 6’6” box. Overall, the product does what it is intended to do - cover your bed. Of all the brands that I have owned and reviewed, this is the lowest price point ($199 at time of purchase) and stacks well comparably in terms of quality and installation. I am rating as a 4/5 because of the locking mechanism only being on one side and is not swappable, along with the other cons

Pros:
- Cheap price, good quality tonneau material
- Installation is quick (60 minutes or less regardless of experience) and can be done solo
- there is weather sealing across the outer perimeter entirely
- This is the lowest profile of any tonneau cover I have owned, nearly flush to the bed rails

Cons:
- The rails appeared to be slightly warped, unsure if this is a manufacturer defect or result of cheap metal
- The tonneau cover secures at only one point (driver side) which not only is visible to the eye, but compromises the security
- The rail that runs parallel to the tailgate does not have enough height to activate the locking mechanism and as a result will not latch while the tailgate is closed, unless the rails are mounted above the bed and in turn losing the flush mounting appearance. Additionally, because the tailgate is closed after latching the tonneau cover, the weather strip parallel to the tailgate does not lay on top as it likely would if the tailgate could be closed while latching into the security mechanism (see images)
- The rail mounts are very low quality and only comes in a pack of six (6) for three (3) on each side. This is inadequate and less than what competitors at the same price point offer. As a result, it becomes challenging to perfectly align the rails to the bed frame as there should be at least four (4) mounting points on each side, if not five (5) in my opinion
- Common with all soft tonneau covers I have owned, the thread appears to already be unraveling immediately out of the shipping box. I have noticed this occur after months of use in the elements, but never out of the box (See images)

Just purchased a 2018 Silverado, wanted to put a Tonneau cover on it right away. I set a budget and did the research, settled on the Gator ETX Tri-Fold cover. The item was on sale so it was even cheaper then when I original found it which was very cool. The item arrived exactly when they estimated it would. The product is decent quality for the money. You can install and uninstall as needed by yourself and almost on cue we got quite a rainstorm right after I put it on. After the rain, I popped open the tailgate and found the inside bed area was bone dry despite the very heavy rain. If you're looking for a reasonably priced decent quality, easy to use tonneau cover that looks great, look no further, you've found it! Order it today!

This truck bed cover is a QUALITY, SUPERB product! Fit my husbands 2017 Chevrolet’Silvetado Texas Edition. DURABLE, SNUG, PERFECT FIT, and COMPLETELY WATERPROOF!

We had doubt and concerns about purchasing an “ after-market” truck bed cover, after Chevrolet told us the “pros “ and “cons,”,if we decided to do so: improper fitting,rusting after prolonged use, leaks, etc. We were quoted a price of $1.5 k for the Chevrolet product and decided to try this product, because it was more AFFORDABLE.

We are very happy we did! The ordering/shipment process was “ no-hassle” , arrived as scheduled, and was easy to install , as stated in the instruction manual. Our bed cover was put to the test , as it has rained , consistently, for the past 30 days, and counting! I admit, leaking was my primary concern , but, I am proud to say, the truck bed is COMPLETELY DRY! Whew! I love the extra space in the truck when we shop and travel because we can now place our groceries, and luggage in the truck bed without worry. Our packages are SAFE and DRY!

Do yourself a favor , BUY THIS PRODUCT, SAVE your $$$$ , and PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY!

I just bought this Tonneau Cover for my truck in July 10, 2019. The install started off fine but when I went to tighten the clamps down that is where the problems started. The clamps started moving around as I began to tightening them to the point that they slipped and pinched my finger between the clamps and the bed of my Truck. After messing around for almost an hour on just one side the other side took just about the same amount of time to install just because of the clamps. After getting it installed and rolling out the cover and stretching over the next couple of days with it in the sun it appeared to be nicely secured to the truck and the cover looked great on the truck. So now I bring you to today July 23, 2019 after taking a about a 350 mile round trip on the highway at speeds of 70-80 MPH (ie Central Texas) I got home and opened the tailgate took some stuff out and went to shut the tail gate I started to hit the cover directly on the cross brace when it was fully latched. That is when I noticed the rails dropped on the driver side stopping the tailgate from latching. So I go grab my tools and started checking the clamps ALL 3 OF THEM ARE LOOSE to the point that a good bump would have knocked them there position and allow the cover to go flying on the highway luckily that didn't happen. So let me take you back to when I first installed them I used a 3/8 drive ratchet to tighten the brackets down once I was able to keep them from moving around. I went back and used a Impact driver that only toques maximum of 8-12lbs on each clamp. They shouldn't have moved or became loose after that short round trip. After further inspection and repositioning the rails trying to get them tight again I noticed that the aluminum rail had even more slip damage than in the beginning. After reinstalling the clamps again we will see if they come loose again. Update Pending.....

Great value! Wife wanted a cover for her new truck. Found great deals on lots of covers looked at the premium and budget options this one was in between. Rails fit inside the box which keeps the profile low and will allow for bed rails should she choose.
Install was simple three clamps each side and two bolts.

This truck cover is a great price for a good product. It took 10 minutes to install and works as described. It keeps our items protected from the weather. As our truck has a locking tailgate, it also provides security.
We weren't sure whether we needed the old truck bed or new truck bed style, but after scrolling through the pictures of the item, the description and pictures made it easy to order the correct item. This information could be made more easily available.
I can't describe the durability of this product yet, but it is working well so far in the cold winter climate.

Great cover for the price! Keeps the bed dry and seals nice and tight. Only downside to the cover is the single latch on the left side. Cover seems like it flaps a little more than it would with a dual latch. Adjusting the tension on it is easy but only has 4 positions available so it may have a issue when it stretches over time but only time will tell. Would I buy it again? Absolutely as it does a awesome job for the price!

Fits great on my 2017 Gmc 2500HD with the 6.5Ft box. Install was very easy and directions where good but you should still watch the gator install YouTube as it helps. So far it’s great but it hasn’t seen any snow yet so review might change tomorrow

This tonneau cover was very easy to install. 10 min tops. Its had a few snow and ice storms and so far holding up well. Really like it so far.
