My toddler plays with this daily. The only things I would warn about are the utensils that come with this are small and metal, so potentially dangerous to small children. So far, so good though!
Came missing parts. After 1 hour assembly we noticed missing pieces. Contacted manufacturer and only solution was to send entire thing back. Disassemble and ship back? Who has time for that? We were given a paltry 13 dollar credit for the incomplete kitchen. Avoid this mess
It's a bit small for me to use, but from the looks of it, my daughter absolutely adores the thing! Not wobbly, the accessories are plastic, which is easily cleaned, obviously, and there's sound effects to the thing! The stove top makes cooking noises, too. Which she loves. That, and shoving wooden blocks into the oven compartment... Nothing concerning going on there. Nope, no bad omens to speak of with wood in the... Anyway, good kitchen playset, stable, fun, and not a screen. Happy.
My toddler son asked for three things for his third birthday: a play kitchen, an escalator, and THE Easter Bunny. Two of the three are nearly impossible to obtain, so we chose this play kitchen for him. We loved the smallness of the kitchen compared to other ones...our toddler is on the petite size so this kitchen fits him perfectly. He's spent hours playing kitchen now. This kitchen is sturdy, has great features, and is a good size for smaller kiddos. (Even our 9 year old enjoys playing kitchen with him.) Assembly is detailed, but we just made sure to lay out all the part bags by number and organized the pieces by letter. My husband and I built it together, and with a little teamwork, we were able to finish it up in 45 minutes while he napped.
Okay, I have had this for about a week and gave it to my 2 year old son. I have mixed feelings for it.
Here are my thoughts:
1. My husband is a carpenter he builds things for a living and some of the instruction was a little unclear and parts didnt always line up. So for him it took a little over an hour.
2. It is smaller than I thought it is a good size for a two year old but when he is 3ish or 4 he will definitely grow out so keep that in mind while buying it
3. It is pretty sturdy one thing about it I dont like is every 90 days you have to tighten the screws which they used really cheap screws so this might be difficult down the road
4. I love the design of it and how it looks in the room it has a good amount of storage and I love the sounds it makes
5. It comes with some pots and pans which is really cute
6. So, it has a very odd smell and I can't figure out what the smell is from but it is from the kitchen.
I love it but if I knew how tiny it is I would not buy it since I want to use it for years, but if you are looking for a nice wooden kitchen for your little one that will last only a year or so then this is perfect for you.
Smaller than I thought it would be but very loved
We ordered this product twice. The first time, it was delivered with a large split in one of the larger pieces of wood, thankfully we hadn’t started putting it together before noticing it so we returned it. I re ordered this product thinking we just got a bad one the first time. The second one that came in, as we start putting it together, we notice the holes do not line up with each other so my husband had to make his own holes and when placing the wood screws in one of the peices it split the wood. Since we have it most the way assembled it is not worth it to take it apart and send it back for a second time. We will just make due with this until it falls apart and we understand it will probably not last very long.
I bought this play kitchen for my 3 year old granddaughter and she (and my 1.5 year old grandson) loves it! It took me a couple of hours to put together (by myself), but it was worth every minute! It's so cute! I love the lights/sounds on it! It is very sturdy and well built & the kitchenware that comes with it is also very nice! If you're looking for a kitchen play set (which I'm sure you are if you're reading this review!), you can't go wrong with this one!
