Our daughter sleeps on the top bunk above her desk and regularly falls down the ladder when she gets up in the middle of the night to get water. Enter The Bed Shelfie. A friend showed me this product and I thought that's a cool way to give her a shelf up there for her water so that she doesn't wake me when failing ... :)

The Bed Shelfie arrived quickly and was extremely well packaged. When I opened the box I was a little concerned that the shelfie wouldn't be able to clamp well to the metal bed frame as the frame was an awkward shape, well I was wrong and I quickly managed to fit the shelfie to the frame surrounding the upper bunk bed.

As a surprise for my daughter I put her favorite book, some new earphones and a large glass of water on the shelfie before bed time ... I've never seen her so excited to go to bed when she saw the stash on the shelfie, that was several days ago and she has now practically moved her entire library and tech onto the shelfie! So last night we heard a crash and my immediate thought was the shelfie, rushed into the room to find that the shelfie was firmly in place and my daughter on the floor having fallen down the ladder getting up to use the bathroom from all the water ...

An excellent and well designed, sturdy product, packaged well enough to gift and extremely useful.

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for something like this! I have an IKEA Brimnes bed with pull out drawers on all sides - great for storage, not so great for nightstands. I looked for floating stands to put on the wall (heavy and ~$300 each). Less expensive ones with the right color were plastic or fiberboard and not aesthetically pleasing. These are classy, match my decor, made from quality material, and the price is right! I rent so an added bonus is that I don't have to put any wall anchors or mounting in the dry wall. I'm telling you, if you have an IKEA Brimnes, Brusali, Flekke, or Hemnes, this will make all your side table dreams come true!!

The only foreseeable downside is if you're looking for something to hold a bedside lamp - it's probably too small and sits too close to the bed. But I have an overhead light fixture and a floor lamp, so it's not an issue for me.

 I had been searching for a good bedshelf that would fit the design of my bedroom for a while. I am glad I found the bedshelf from this brand. The color of this one matches my room design I am extremely happy about it. I give it a solid five stars because the quality of the bedshelf is a top notch. Extremely easy to assemble to you bed. I can’t ask for more! Thank you for making such a great product!!!

Pretty disappointed that this does not fit the IKEA malm frame, arguably one of the most popular cheap bed frames.

The shelf itself is gorgeous. It's well made and a perfect size. It seems very sturdy, and i'm hoping to modify it to fit my bed frame as it's definitely one of the nicer bed shelves on the market.

This was a perfect solution for my ever-so independent 19 month old son. He is still in a crib but would become frustrated not being able to reach his cup of water at night or in the morning before we got to him. I purchased this to keep a spill proof water cup in arms reach with a favorite book; he LOVES his new found freedom. It does have some sharp corners on the underside. I just wrapped an old swaddling blanket around the edges...problem solved!

I ordered this BedShelfie for my son for his college dorm room. The shelfie was easy to assemble and it’s very sturdy. He’s able to sit his drinks, remotes, cell phone, etc on it. He’s been using it now for a few months and has never had any problems with it.
Beware of cheap knockoffs! I heard they can be disasters! Some just slip under the mattress, and as soon as you put something on the shelf, it’ll just collapse. Some just pops down on the edge of the rail of the bed, and doesn’t offer enough strength to put anything down on. This one you easily screw on, and it holds extremely well!
I’m very pleased with this BedShelfie and highly recommend it. Two thumbs up!
