We have patio chairs with white cushions that would get wet and dirty all the time last summer. I had to constantly wash/dry them and it was a pain in the neck. This year I purchased these chair protectors and I haven't had to wash or dry them once - what a pleasure. Keeps them dry when it rains and keeps the things that fall from the trees off of them (as well as bird poop). Totally worth the very reasonable price.
Cover has a durable feel and has done a good job of protecting our furniture. They are a decent size and smart cut so I think they would fit a variety of chair shapes.
These were purchased for spring/summer use in a region where winters can be harsh (freezing temps, snow and freezing precipitation). We like these covers and they fold up very neatly and easily when we use our gazebos. Our practice is to store the covers and cushions in a shed over winter, and cover the metal frames with tarps. Doing this, I anticipate getting 3-4 years usage. If you want to leave them out all year, in a colder climate, I do not think they will hold up well over winter.
These set my chair is perfectly. They definitely kept the Sun and Rain off. The problem is at the ties are nylon and are too short. They are difficult to tie on and do not stay tied. I have had two of these covers blow away In the wind because the ties have not held.
I just got them today. They fit my chairs perfect they bigger than I expected. I love the material. I am glad it’s not just cheep plastic covers. Very satisfied with the purchase a great but for only $12.99
For the price they reduce/repel water pretty well. They are larger than I need, but we fold them in the front and snap them in place with a clothes pin.
I purchased 10 of these and am satisfied. Fit my chairs perfectly however they are made of very light material. I don't think these will hold up in the Phoenix Arizona sun. Very frail and thin. No coating for sun protection.
4 stars for design and durability. It’ll survive any climate and keep ur patio furniture perfect. Tiny deduction for the ties that lash it to ur chair legs/crossbars being way too short. I knotted mine out of frustration and cold—here’s hoping they untie in spring.
Now the bad. Chock full of bad chemicals—fails California P65 law. There’s phthalates and lead in it(made in China FYI). You can really really smell the chemicals. I tried airing them in my basement before putting them on the chairs(so the heat indoors would soften them after their frozen trip here), but the smell is too much to keep them indoors very long. I put them on the chairs and washed my hands right away. It says on the package that the chemicals are harmful to pregnant women and children. I don’t take this lightly bc the smell of chemicals is very very strong, so I’m assuming heavy concentrations of chemicals in the material.
To their credit, these covers are well made, very sturdy and fit a range of chair sizes. My complaint really is I was expecting heavy canvas with a kind of backing material, and these seem heavily chemically treated inside and out. So I do have concerns about children and pregnant women handling them...and I would wonder how much will seep into the wood grain of my chairs. The point was to protect my newly refinished furniture, not make more work resealing them to keep these toxins in.
I think if you’re aware of exactly what ur buying and are ok with it, these are great. But if ur thinking more natural canvas, it’s def not that or natural. Good luck disposing of them in a landfill when they’re past their useful life.
Overall, good design just overly complicated with toxic chemicals. If I could sew, I would have just sewn some covers outta heavy canvas. Live and learn I guess.
the description says its waterproof, however mine is not. I covered some outdoor chairs with cushions and this week when we had lots of rain, both chair cushions were completely soaked. I am very disappointed. I cant return it because its past the time frame, so i am at a loss.
These worked great. Fit over our oversized patio chairs , even though they were 1 inch wider than the cover size. Ties in front and back-bit short but take time and you can get a bow.
The product is well made and reasonably priced. Be sure to measure your chairs has I had to send these back as they were to small.
Great product. Heavy Duty fits really well
I used this cover for four stacking backyard chairs and it works like a charm. It would easily fit any size of chair, there is room enough under the tarp for a bigger chair. Is exactly as advertise, which is great!
