Just to give some details I purchased the dark chocolate color and I paid $199.99. I was very worried about the product because it only had 3.5 stars and just over 100 reviews. I almost cancelled my order in favor of another dresser that had 1500 plus reviews and a 4.5 Star average but my husband liked this dresser better so I decided to give it a shot. I’m very glad that I did because it is perfect for our nursery! One review mentioned that the color was completely wrong and included pictures. They must have gotten a defective one because ours was exactly right. I included pictures of the delta dark chocolate changer and crib that we purchased separately (from another amazon seller and Target respectively) to show that it is a match. The guaranteed delivery date was Monday 12/07/19 but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived Saturday 12/05/19! My husband and I (7 months pregnant) were able to put it together in a couple of hours with several interruptions from our older son. I would have been able to put it together by myself if necessary although I admit I may have cried a little out of frustration(I’m pregnant do give me a break) it really wasn’t hard with 2 people though! I highly recommend having a second person helping to get everything lined up. I’m very happy with the quality of the dresser. The drawers and back panel are made of cheaper particle board type something but that is to be expected (my husband and I have a very nice solid wood bedroom set and the back of that is similar) the drawers are straight and slide easily. One of the drawers had a back piece that was bowed ever so slightly but we just had to hold it in place while we screwed it in and it straightened out just fine. I’m very glad we got this dresser instead of the other one with higher ratings. I’m confident that this dresser is every bit as good quality as the other one.

After reading the reviews, I was disappointed when I actually received the dresser. The frame is extremely sturdy but the drawers just ruin the whole dresser. They are made of particle board with a cheap veneer over top. The drawers don't close completely because the face of the drawers are warped. They make the end product just appear and feel cheap.

Most disappointing is the fact that the drawers have little to no safety stop. This is marketed as a piece of nursery furniture which is ironic. It's extremely unsafe for any child that can reach the drawers. They take no effort at all to pull completely out, falling to the ground; and they're not light. I will have to rig up some sort of safety stop. So if you buy this product, expect to have to do the same to ensure your child's safety. I asked myself if maybe i was overreacting until I pulled the drawer out, it didn't stop, and it landed on the top of my foot, It hurt like hell. Imagine that happening to a toddler.

Let me start by saying that I assembled many furtinure in my life, including complicated wardrobes.
We got this dresser for our newborn and I am deeply disappointed by the assembly of this piece of furniture. NONE of drawers close correctly, I posted some pictures. There is a huge gap. Mainly the reason is the pre-assembled rails on the side of the dresser, they are off so when you insert the drawers, they won't close and it's very visible.
It took me HOURS to fix the issues.
IF YOU ARE NOT A CARPENTER DON'T BUY IT.
I saw other people complaining about the same issue, but I thought they are just not experienced at all. Unfortunately, they were right.
Save yourself time and headache and select something else because it's very hard to fix these pre fabricated errors...

This dresser is terrible!! I thought it would be a good deal since it was marked down from $199 and I know Delta Children usually has sturdy, good quality furniture. But the color was not at all pictured, it’s actually much lighter and does not match my crib and rocking chair. The pieces that go between the dressers were warped, so none of the drawers close the way they should. The drawers are also hard to pull out and don’t pull out very far, making it extremely difficult to see what clothes are in the back of the drawer and pull clothing out. Would NOT recommend purchasing this.

Well for starters-- our package arrived without the directions on how to put it together. I started a wild goose chase for the directions which are NOT easy to find! THEN I realized I had the wrong the ones and came back to this post and found the user guide which was not clearly labeled. Then I got nearly to the end of assembly and realized that I was given the wrong screws! The directions state that I need thirty 25mm screws to assemble the drawers and i was only provided sixteen and then provided 40mm screws which were used NO WHERE within the directions. SO FRUSTRATING!

Now I guess I need to find more screws that are this size to continue assembling my dresser-- why is this so hard?

Usually try and give the benefit of the doubt to the manufacturer but I can’t in this case. Have had this dresser for about a year and it’s in total disrepair. When originally put together, the drawers did not sit level in their slots and the screws could not be tightened all the way or else they would have punctured through the wood on the front of each drawer. Forward a few months of use and the screws began falling out from all over the inside of the frame and the underside of the drawers. Now, the bottom two drawers won’t even slide in and out and the whole frame has warped. I was so surprised because the crib we have from Delta Children has held up amazingly well given its use everyday. Same cannot be said for this item. Thoroughly disappointed and will have to now look for another dresser to suit our needs. Ugh.

Was relatively easy for my husband to put together by himself. He said that everything could have been labeled a bit better but still wasn't an issue, it might have saved 10 minutes. The drawers are kind of shallow as everyone else has said. I could see this being an issue and wish they would extend just a bit further. We're using the top draw to hold diapers, socks, and accessories in white bins and I had to contort the bins to get them in the drawer. Overall, it's a good value for the price and we are happy to have the piece in the nursery!
