So far so good. Took 3 hours exactly to assemble with 2 people. I wish amazon offered assembly because I would have surely paid for the service. But all parts were accounted for. Nothing was missing from the box. All the parts were labeled by letter. And the directions were easy to follow. Bed fells sturdy. I’m interested to see how it wears long term. Overall good product. I’m happy with my purchase. Will follow up with another review pending wear and tear

I LOVE this loft bed/desk. It is great for a petite adult--a lot of the loft beds are designed for kids/teens, so it took awhile to find one that fit my needs, and this one is perfect. It saves so much space in my small NYC bedroom. The desk is the entire length of the bed, so it is a nice long well made desk. The espresso color is lovely. It is exactly what I was looking for.
The assembly took me literally all day, but I did it alone and had never put together furniture before. If you have help and a little experience I'm sure it would take maybe 2-3 hours. It's a great purchase, if you want a nice desk and loft bed, this is a great one to get.

I am highly disappointed. I was shopping for a loft bed for my daughter for a long time and finally I found this one. It looks nice and is sturdy. I read the description and everything sounded great. This bed was delivered, and now I noticed the warning that this bed contains composite wood that is compliant for formaldehyde. It smells so bad that I can only imagine how toxic it is. Going to return it. Why this warning is not included in the description? It would save my time! Otherwise, it’s a great looking bed. Very upset that we have to return it.

Box arrived in horrible condition but product inside was in decent shape. A bit of a bear to assemble, but doable. Decent materials. Daughter loves it. Desk is nice and wide. More than enough room to work. They could have actually lessened the room between the desk and bunk bed to give more room at the top for rooms with lower ceilings.
Issues with shipping due to weather. I also picked entryway delivery and the driver would only drop it off the truck. They did place it in the garage after I requested because it was raining.

The overall bed seems to be a decent product. However, the parts that support the crossbeam of the desk (G and F) came with the holes in the wrong places. One of them measures 17" from the front of bed where the desk should be and the other measures 21'", which does not allow the bed to be put together properly. I tried calling the customer support number but they are only open Mon-Friday, 8-5 (eastern time) and close for lunch.

I run and own a business and understand that it may be difficult to have someone work on Saturdays especially if you have to pay them overtime. However, I also can't imagine very many people are working on assembling their beds between 8-5pm Monday through Friday. This is something 95% people probably do on the weekend or after they get home from work. To not have customer service available (even for just 3 hours) on a Saturday seems crazy to me and makes me think Dorel doesn't care a whole lot about helping their customers deal with potential issues that might arise with their product.

I had considered getting a second bed for another bedroom, (another Dorel product) and almost bought both at the same time, but given that there is a lack of support I definitely won't use them again.

two weeks in and the ladder was split. it also rubs the frame causing chips and paint rub off. overall it looks nice but doesn't look like it will last.

This is a substantial bed that should last a while. It took a few hours for my husband and I to assemble. One could assemble it alone, but I would not recommend it - use two people. It's sturdy enough that the adults can climb up to change the sheets. It's snug with only 8' ceilings in our house, but it's no prob for kids. I'm planning to buy one for my other kid.

Perfect bed for small spaces. It is heavy and sturdy with plenty of desk space. Not difficult to put together. Every part was labeled and delivery was a breeze.
