I washed it as directed. During the first wash cycle, th er colors blend terribly and the bottom of the comforter developed "runners" or small tears. Please see pictures.

Pokemon bed in a bag set- absolutely better than expected. I was worried the fabric would be stiff, have a chemical smell or worse the pictures would show pixels, or blurred but this is BEAUTIFUL. Our grandson loves it. It is super soft- think buttery leggings soft and the pictures are crisp and clean. This is true pokemon bedding not a knockoff. The sheets are soft as well. I believe they are a microfiber blend of some sort. Colors are very bright and it is exactly as pictured. The one thing I did not realize was that it is reversible! The other side has colored cubes that match the sheet colors. This would be a good set for either boy OR girl. It does have some hot pink silhouettes on the sheets making it a nice gender neutral item. I am so glad I took a chance. I was looking at another set that was >$100. I can't believe I got this comforter with the sheet set and pillowcase for just tiny bit over 1/3rd of that price!! Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

I like that this included all 4 pieces and for the price was a good deal. It included the comforter, pillow case, flat sheet and fitted sheet. It’s for my 5 yr. old so the quality is good enough for him. The sheets are a cute design. The fitted sheet does seem a little over sized, but I just made sure to tuck in the extra material under the mattress.

I couldn’t find a Pokémon bed set for under a hundred anywhere so I was super stoked to find this one! I got it for my sons birthday and he loves it! The sheets are kind of a thin, slippery material, not super warm, but still cute. The comforter is light and fluffy, not heavy.

My son was so excited when i found this set that includes MewTwo but i am appalled at the lack of quality. It feels soft enough but cheap. Still in the dryer so can't comment on fit yet but i had to stop and write about the comforter. It is really just batting surrounded by a cheap thin bag. Meaning there is no stitching across the middle at all so as soon as you put it in the washer/ dryer the batting balls up in the bag of cheap cloth. Hoping i can straighten it out when it's dry but i seriously doubt this set will last more then a few washes.

Update: After using it for a few days I have taken it down to 1 star. It took me 3 cycles to dry as it twists and balls up so bad. Functionally it is just terrible, the shell of the comforter clings to you as you sleep making it hot and sweaty. The sheets aren't sized well for a twin and bunch up underneath you. the only small positive is the design which my son loves.

I am going to give a complete and honest review. First, it’s important to mention I am a 25 year-old woman who bought this for herself and not a child. The comforter is huge, much bigger than most twin comforters, which is awesome as I’m using it for myself on a King bed (boyfriend and I prefer different thicknesses and temperatures). It is thin, which I like, it will keep one warm but it feels more pressed if that makes sense, not as much bulk. It had some loose threading, but it isn’t coming apart anywhere that I see. I have only had it for one night and after getting it I put it in the wash, I have a front loader and used delicate cycle with cold water as suggested. It recommended mild detergent which I use all brand gentle detergent. Blanket came out fine, colors did not run, neither did the top sheet and pillow case. All seems well so far. Follow washing instructions, i was skeptical looking at reviews where colors ran. I am a huge Pokémon fan and just having colorful happy pokes on my blanket does a lot for my mood. Whether you’re getting this for yourself or your child, it’s a good buy, just follow washing instructions exactly so it lasts and colors do not run. It’s very vibrant, the Pokémon look great and it has a sophisticated look compared to many throws. Get it for your kids dorm, liking Pokémon is cool now, it’s nice and makes me happy. :)

The twin fitted sheet was much larger than a twin size and thin. I loved the design of the comforter, but the pink and purple colors are dominant which made both the comforter and sheets look extremely feminine. I bought this for my 7 year old son. He did not mind the pink and purple because they are the standard colors of the characters which have no gender. Looked way too girly for a boys room, so I returned it. I couldn’t rate the comfort level because I took the bedding right off the bed. Never used them. My son was upset & I can’t find another set at the great price point of this one. May have to pay a little more for better quality and the masculine design I’m looking for.

First thing I noticed was that the fitted sheet is way too big for a twin bed, yet too small for a full bed. I'll probably need to sew some extra elastic on so it doesn't come off.

And, apparently, in spite of following the washing instructions, the comforter *shredded* on the first washing... in addition to the batting clumping up. It really needs some extra stitching to keep the batting in place. See pictures for the shredding.

It's really disappointing to get your kids some Christmas presents that have to go away immediately, because they're so cheap you can't even clean them.

I'm only even giving it a second star because somehow there were no obvious issues with the sheet or pillow case.

Such a bright & fun comforter set! I was a little leery to purchase online without seeing/feeling the quality of it first, but i’m happy with it and think my daughter will be thrilled when she sees it! It’s vibrant and very soft! Sheet set is nice as well... great set overall and i’m pleased with it!! *Photo was taken in a darker lower level room and you can still see how bright & fun it is!!

I have a HUGE Pokémon fan that I was redoing a room for, and this was perfect! The price was beyond reasonable, and had super fast shipping! The colors are way more brilliant in person, the sheets and comforter are super soft... and I didn’t realize comforter was reversible until I first made bed. I great buy, and a must have for any Pokémon fan.

Nice design and sheets and blanket are very soft after washing with fabric softener. However within a week or so of having it, it ripped on one side of the blanket, and not even at the seam, so it makes the repair very obvious once sewn.
