This is a perfect little scale!
It is meant to be a kitchen scale and will work great for that.
It can weigh up to 6.5 pounds but it's also accurate in tiny amounts.
If you do any baking or are on a diet this would be perfect.

To test its accuracy I went down to the basement and weighed some archery tips that I know the weight of. These tips weight only 150 grains (0.34 oz). The scale was dead on!

It comes with a protective cover, a small weighing basket, batteries and clear instructions. You will not really need the instructions though because it is so easy to use.

It is also small enough to keep easily in a drawer, or out of the way.

The numbers are a half inch tall on a bright display, so they are really easy to read, even without my reading glasses on.

It will be really helpful for some of my other projects too! I will probably order another so that my wife doesn't get mad at me for taking it to my workshop all the time :-)

For years and years, I have been using an old postal scale for my food scale. It has worked OK, but I am QUITE pleased to have moved up to a REAL food scale.

This unit will weigh in just about every form of weight imaginable--even a couple I've never even heard of. I generally do things in ounces, but having the capability to switch to grams if, for instance, I am following a recipe in metric. This little guy even weighs in grains, so in a pinch, I could even use it for reloading--but that's another story.

It is stainless steel, which I like much better than the plastic I used to have. It comes with a couple small plastic trays to use if you want to, but I mostly just use the bowls I have.

It takes 2 AAA batteries, which I really like. My old one used a 9 volt. The screen is lighted, and easy to see and read even at an angle if you have a large bowl sitting on it.

If you are weighing several items, you can weigh one and then "zero" out and weigh the next without emptying the bowl. It will weigh up to a bit over 5 pounds. I looked at one that only went to about 1 and a half pounds. I didn't like that. Not that I weigh 5 pound things that often. I just like the option.

I really can't come up with anything I don't like about it. I guess I would have liked the directions in a larger font, but I just slip the ol' glasses on, and can see the directions just fine. They are not long in information, but it's easy enough to figure out what button to push to get from grams to ounces, etc.

If you are in the market for a decent food scale, you'll be quite pleased with this one.

Great little scale at 4”x5” with a 6” diagonal measurement. Comes with 2 plastic trays for measuring food or other items which also double for a cover and case. Very accurate with a bright display as I compared it to another scale I own. This scale would be great for travel or daily use for small items like fruit, protein powders or food in bowls. I originally bought this scale to measure ingredients for making soap, however, I ended up needing to use it the first time to weigh some packages to determine how many stamps I would need. I am very pleased with this purchase! The screen is bright and VERY easy to read. The scale is also easy to use when you need to switch between units. Strangely enough, I think my favorite part is that the scale comes with two clear covers, one cover protects the actual scale itself and the other protects the entire device! Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend to those in the market for a food scale.

This scale is gona come in handy when canning my vegetables. With this there will be no more guessing the amount I place in each freezer bag. By coming with two size bowls I won’t have to worry about a bag leaking on to my scales. Im able to weigh in ounces, pounds, grams, kilograms and grains. It allows me to keep the same weigh in each freezer bag of my vegetables, fruit and meats. Now that I’m on a diet by being able to weigh my food It provides an accurate weight so that I don’t over eat. This scale has a back light display which allows easier readings of my items. The scale is small enough to leave on my kitchen counter top, when you don’t have a lot of counter space this really comes in handy. I’m so excited to use this.

It was smaller than I thought it would be when I opened the package - but it works great, even with the larger dishes. The scale we have used and liked for years, now limping along with electric tape patches, is no longer made. Bought another with good reviews but the readings were not as accurate and fluctuated when material being weighed was hot. This scale works great!! Larger plate is just pushed back a bit so can see readout. Would recommend.

The written description, and the graphic used, showing the scale among FOOD items is misleading, it’s not until you fully grasp you are looking at peppercorns and a cut lemon, that the actual size of the salmon steak is dwarfed, along with the size of the scale. (Actual size, just over 4x5”. As shown in my image, a generic pair of eye glasses extend beyond the edges.) A plastic tray, 2AA Batteries and directions are included, but, just like the scale, the directions are TINY, —3pt. Type,—in my case, needing a magnifying glass to read. While the description mentions grams + ounce weight selections, there are in fact 9 choices- grams, kilograms, grains, ounces, carats, milliliters, pounds, Jin, and Liang...as well as a number of settings, the value of which escape me since I was only looking for, on, off, and how much does that apple weigh.

What a cute scale! I have been in search of a scale for some time now but just hadn’t found one that I thought I’d want to put the money into. This small scale is super sensitive and very easy to use! It comes with two separate trays that second as protective cases for traveling with your scale! I bought it to weigh my foods as I’ve been portioning. This scale is such a great thing to have in the kitchen! It could also work great for weighing and shipping small packages! I would definitely recommend. Super cute, compact, light weight, easy to use!
