Purchase a warranty on the product.
Didn't take out 3 year additional warranty because I'd expect a product to last at least 3 years.
Broke once a year.
First time was within warranty and they supplied parts immediately.
Second time it failed where internal plastic switch broke, and out of warranty and they were unable to support the product through the warranty.
Very disappointed in the product.

I am most pleased with this refurbished purchase! It works perfectly and I have been making so many smoothies without any issues and they are just as good, if not better, than local smoothie shops! Comes with two smoothie cups, blender, and processor. LOVE this product!
