I love the chair, my wife loves the chair, as we literally use it every day to rock our daughter to sleep since she was born. After a few months, the bearings did start squeaking, so I have to periodically oil them. Kind of a hassle, but not a deal breaker, as like anything it requires maintenance. After about 8 months of steady use, a lower bearing went out, so I looked up on their website, could not figure out a part number for it, so I emailed them explain the issue, attached photos of the bearing, and the MFG label under the chair, and they emailed back stating that they summited an order for me. Later got an email with a tracking number. To my surprise, they sent me a whole new chair. Wow, all I needed was a bearing. So yes it was unfortunate that I had a bearing go out, but what great customer service to send a whole new chair. Thank you very much!

Love this Glider! We have had one for 2 years and love it and just picked up another one. The second one just arrived and 3 snaps were crushed so couldn't attach armrests, but it would seem this is pretty common with shipping, unfortunately. No problem though, just call up Stork Craft customer service and they will send you the replacements for free. (takes 10-14 days) Very nice! Don't bother with Amazon for things like snaps or cushion replacement as they will just have you send the whole chair back. The customer service number for Stork Craft is 1-877-274-0277 call back if you hear a busy signal. You will need the model number, the date the chair was manufactured, and place of manufacture for the call. Those can be found under the seat of the glider....the assembly paper is NOT where you would find it as it's incomplete info. Finally, don't forget to be nice to Stork Craft customer service...they are sending out parts for free and we want them to keep doing so! Happy Gliding!
Arrived with all of the pieces, and no issues with broken parts. Good value for smaller person, but likely uncomfortable for those who are taller or wider. Was smaller than I expected once assembled. Works great for night feedings but otherwise I choose other places to nurse during the day.

Pro: Looks nice, back cushion is soft, and the pocket on the side is handy. Made a bit of a creaky noise when gliding at first but stopped doing it after a couple of uses. The price point is very inexpensive. The seat is comfortable enough, I am 5' 3" and average build; the seat was uncomfortable when I sat in it while pregnant but is fine now.

Cons: Too small to be comfortable for my 6' 2" husband, the back is pretty short. If I lean my head back, it rests on top of the back cushion. The back cushion is way more plush than the bottom cushion.
***Update
By year two, the seat bottomed out. My husband ended up making a platform seat with support bars & it was SO uncomfortable. When we moved we tossed this in the garbage. My husband and I are still well under the weight limit including the terrible two toddler.***

This chair had potential. This has lasted for over a year, with daily use for naps, bedtime, and rough fussy nights. My husband and I are both under the weight limit even with the baby and within months the left arm came apart. We both lean to the right when we feed the bebe, so it didn't bother us too much. With liquid nails, extra screws, clamps, and more screws we reassembled the arm. After a few more months the whole left arm just fell and came apart. It has clicked since day one, but with constant rocking, it becomes just background noise.
It was easy to assemble.
The fabric can be tossed into the washer and dried and reattached.
After we are finished needing to use this chair, we will just throw it away. It isn't worth saving for next bebe, and with the left side CONSTANTLY broken, I am not handing it down.
This was very easy to put together and easy to clean. I am 7.5 months pregnant and I was able to do it by myself. The print is cute and the back is very comfortable and you cannot feel the wooden spokes behind you like some others. It is not as luxurious as some of the overstuffed plush recliners but it also didn't cost us $600.
Replacing after a year and a half of frustrating use. Wish I had spent the extra money on a more sturdy and comfortable chair.
The cushion inside arm rests has bunched up and I can't straighten it back out, so those are now useless, just hanging on the side. The chair came missing buttons to keep these visions/pockets pinned down, emailed about this with a "tough for you" type response. One of the major wooden back supports broke within 6 months of use. My husband was able to fix just enough to keep it semi-functional, but still will often come out making me lean to one side. I'm afraid what would happen if someone heavier rocked in it- I'm about 145 lbs.
With another baby on the way, we're testing chairs in person from companies with better customer service & literally tossing this to the curb.
I will say the ottoman still works well.
When i began assembly i discovered the item was shipped without a hardware pack. Called customer service and they told me it'd be 2 weeks to get the hardware shipped out. Instead i went to a hardware store and bought what i needed. Came home and started putting it together only to find out that the left arm was built wrong. It wasn't that they shipped two of the same side arms. It was literately constructed backwards. At that point i threw everything back in the box and returned it. From what little i was able to assemble it was clearly going to break at some point anyway. Was a very frustrating experience.

Even if it had come with all its parts i woulnd't recommend this chair for anyone over 180lbs. Id be scared to sit in it if i were heavier then that. Hardly anything supporting the bottom cushion. Also felt wobbly from side to side.

Dont waste your time dealing with this product.

I originally loved this chair! Super comfy and cute, unfortunately it broke less than a year after purchase. I Bought it in Sept 2018 and it broke in Jan 2019... I am 130 Ibs and only myself and my 6 Ibs baby sit on this chair, one of the support dowels at the front snapped RIGHT off. I also have the grey seat/back and white wood that is still in good working order.
My wife and I ordered this chair for our nursery. We were looking for an inexpensive glider that matched our grey/white theme.

Unfortunately, the quality of this chair is poor. We had to return it.
-On one of the arm cushions, the buttons to connect the cushion to the chair were fastened backwards. We could flip over the cushion and stretch tightly to get it to fit, but was still less than ideal.
-The colour of the back cushion and arm cushions did not match the colour of the seat cushion. It greatly stood out and it made the chair look cheap
-The seat cushion is incredibly thin, and I would suspect would compress after use and become rather uncomfortable. Not ideal if nursing a newborn in the middle of the night
-When I sat down in the chair, it creaked and sounded like I was going to break the thing. I weigh about 195lbs, and I thought it would crumble beneath me. Not a reassuring feeling if I'm going to be rocking my newborn in it.

-One good thing I can say, is that assembly was a piece of cake. Srew on the back, screw on the arms, attach cushions, done.

We found a much higher quality chair for not that much more (less than $100 more), and we are extremely happy that we returned the Stork Craft.
My wife's father used to work for this company when they still have Canadian warehouses. She had one before and miss the comfort so I got one and thinking this cheaper one is the same as the more expensive ones you see here. The difference are the mats the more expensive ones are much thicker and have different material inside to be more comfortable. I'm not sure those are the same as the old ones but this one is definitely different. Nonetheless she used it everyday and is well build for the wood quality. Would be nice to buy the mats separately to replace she just put a pillow under for now.

So these mats are quite thin therefore not too soft. For the price and shipped to my door it is still a good deal.
All of the parts were in good shape on arrival, which was lucky as the box was pretty chewed up. I'll blame Purolator for that one. It was quite easy to put together (about 20 minutes from unpacking the box to sitting on it). All of the necessary tools and hardware came in the box (the hardware for the ottoman part are in a different bag, so don't panic if you don't see them at first). The back cushion is quite comfortable, but I get the impression it is going to "deflate" fairly quickly.

The arm rest cushions are my only (minor) complaint. They are quite snug, which puts some strain on the snaps that keep them in place. They tend to un-snap fairly often. Not a huge problem, but if they could be moved even 1/16th of an inch, I think they would be a lot more reliable.

Love how light and comfortable the material on this rocking chair is. You can easily remove and put in the wash. The side pockets are definitely a plus! Two things though:

1: the chair is a little snug for hubby to use. (He is 6 feet tall and weighs approx 200 lbs).

2: the product arrived on time and easy to assemble but was missing 4 screws for the ottoman. Never fear... awesome Amazon customer service helped us sort it all out!

Now we use this chair every day to rock our little guy to sleep or calm him down.
ottoman/foot rest arrived broken. We're communicating with the merchant for a replacement but the chair is really nice! I have to say that it's a small and delicate chair so I larger person wouldn't fit in it comfortably. I am 5.2 feet tall and weigh 110 lbs and I just about fit comfortably. My husband is 6 ft tall and weighs around 180 lbs; he doesn't fit comfortably and would likely break it after a few uses so he avoids it.
love it, not super plush but i put a sheepskin on the seat and works great. my son is 2 and we still use it for reading. love the pockets for nipple sheild while i was nursing. i would recommend! The only thing I would say it the light fabric is hard to clean breast milk off of. It yellows it of course. I thought this would be an outdoor fabric that just wipes away but not the case. I would have gotten a taupe or beige colour to hide stains, but this matches my nursery perfectly. So I like it.

Nice quality overall. Gliding motion is nice and smooth. Reason I give it 3 stars is because the frame of the chair is creaking and making some cracking noises when you lean on it in certain directions and we've only had it for 5 months. My wife and I are fairly small people too so it's not like it's a lot of weight being put on it.

Good buy but build quality is a bit questionable.

So easy to assemble, glides nicely. The color matches what most furniture stores would call “espresso” or even a darker mahogany. Like others have mentioned, the bum cushion is a little lacking especially when you’re stuck under a sleeping baby for a couple of hours but I just folded up a couple of blankets as extra padding. We’ve had it for almost a year now and it’s holding up really well. Good value I’d say.

I overall like the glider especially for the price. I find the seat cushion a little hard for me so I can't sit on it for very long periods of time. I also wish the side pockets were a little bit tighter.

I did receive the product with a damaged button that holds down one of the side panels. I contacted amazon support and they were fantastic on getting it sorted out.

UPDATE: I'm on my second child with this chair. Been using it for over 2 years now consistently and it's still in fantastic condition. I the comfort of the seat I previously mentioned doesn't actually bother me. I've spent long periods in this chair rocking my babies. Upgraded to 5 stars.
