The bed came quickly and in perfect condition. It is exceptionally soft. I would curl up in it if it was larger!! My pomeranian "Tucker" loves it but it is a constant battle between him and the cat over who gets it for naptime! Usually the cat wins so Tucker is relegated to the sofa. Oh well; I ordered 2 different beds for 2 separate rooms; it all works out!! They share!!!! My point is...this dog bed is the softest bed I have ever come across in all my years of providing them for my animals The material actually feels like fur! It is actually luxurious. You won't find a better made or softer bed on the market. I would give it 10 stars if I could. You really need to try this bed; your puppy, older dog or even your cat would surely enjoy it! Since my human mommy seems to be busy, I'd like to step in as the actual one who sleeps in this bed and offer my review. Despite that I was perfectly happy sleeping in the new dog's bed, Mommy thought I needed my own. At first I was reluctant, but it only took one nap in my new bed to appreciate its plush surroundings. I've gone from napping 21 hours a day to a full 23 hours. And the fact that it says it's a cat bed right on the outside is even better... so that slobbery dog stays out. Now I just need to teach him to read.Izzy the Kitty Waterproof and windproof but NOT chewproof. But it's very soft and comfy and he liked to curl up and chew on his toys. I went downstairs where his bed was and it was just fluff all over the floor. Then I sat on the stairs and wondered what I could’ve spent this money on instead I bought this well-made, comfy bed specifically for the Iris 2 tier plastic cat cage. I was a little dismayed when I removed it from the box that it was too small for my new rescue cat, but she just leans comfortably against the furry, puffy side. Violet has skin issues on her big cat boobs and the smooth fur doesn't irritate her skin at all. I'm really glad I chose this cat bed (after much angst ☺️) Edit: bed springs back into shape after Gianticus gets out of it! I have two very large labs (95 & 120 lbs.) The XL is plenty roomy for the dog to lay down. Very deep, warm and comfy. I put a heated pad underneath and dogs stay warm and toasty. The high sides keep drafts off. Good value for the price. Also, they haven't chewed a hole in these...normally they would have a couple of holes by now! I purchased this bed for my 1 year old pit bull so I can get him off my bed. At first I had to put the dog bed on my bed after 3 days I place it on the floor, and my 11 pound Yorkie is beside himself on this bed, He so loves it and so does my pit. will have to purchase anyone. LOL Both pups, one 14 the other 2, both love this bed. Very well made. I don't understand the comment someone made about a thin bottom, to me it's perfect. And I agree with another person who said they want to crawl in it because I do too. It feels really very comfortable My Shih-tzu loves it, it's very soft, the center pillow comes of for easy wash, or throw the whole bed in the wash, and you can throw it in the dryer and comes out brand-new. For my small dog she loves it.
