I have a cane Corsica who is 150 lb. hulk. This is the first bed he can just flop on and not have something hanging over the edge. The little headrests are very appreciated by him. He isn’t spending ten minutes prodding the bead to bunch up to make one for him. It is very thick so his joints are protected. A picture is worth a thousand words, 2 pix are even better but I still need to use my words. I wanted a cushion dedicated for use on my porch because I don’t like moving cushions around. Let’s face it, there’s no reason my girls shouldn’t have a cushion in every room. I have places to be comfortable in every room and so should they. This just delivered today so some of my ratings are positive thinking but I don’t think I’ll be disappointed. The inner cover is water repellent. I let the foam expand over night and it’s awesome. It is as thick as advertised and gives great support. You can see in the pix that it isn’t sagging it is solid memory foam, no cheap egg crate foam. The outer cover has a zipper that runs around both long sides and the top. That much zipper combined with the inner cover being “slippery” (but not loud) makes it SUPER easy to get the cover off and on. The cover is a little bit larger than the cushion but I think that is part of the design. Think about it. A little extra room means when it’s in use, the seams won’t be straining. Genius! As you can see my girls love it. The color is Slate Gray. One reviewer said it’s actually light blue, which would have been great but it is definitely gray. It still works with the colors of my porch and the colors of my dogs! From the moment I put this bed on the floor he knew it was his. It's very comfortable. I laid on it myself just to see! I thought it was too big at first but it's the perfect size for his old bones. He loves the pillow ends. The cover is very good quality. It features a heavy duty zipper that zips easily. I got a spot bonus at work at spent it on my dog. He was sleeping on an old towel! I think this is worth every penny and I feel bad I didn't get it for him sooner! This bed is great for our 165 pound Saint! With a big drooler and long hair, I like to wash the cover every week. It is the easiest bed I have ever had to remove, wash and replace the cover. The foam is very thick and keeps its shape. Overall the best bed I have ever bought and with having many large breed dogs over the past 15 years, I have tried many! Are usually like to wait several months after receiving a product so I can get a good idea of its durability and quality. And I can say after owning this dog bed for several months now it is the best investment and purchase I have made regarding dog beds. In the past I would buy cheaper beds just trying to save a buck but they never lasted. I was hesitant to spend over $100 on a dog bed but I am very happy with my purchase. Takes 10 seconds to zip it back on. As you can see in the pictures I have a 75 pound German Shepherd and she has lots of extra room to spare. Underneath the top layer is a thick waterproof mattress that goes around the entire foam pad. The foam pad has never lost shape. My dogs claws have never punctured the waterproof mattress or top cover. This bed is great for larger dogs who need lots of extra space this is one of the few products that I put my full support behind and I would highly recommend it to other people it is quite an investment and very durable. My dogs absolutely LOVE these beds. I searched for a couple of weeks online to find the right bed for my pups. It's not easy with so many products out there and so many reviews to filter through, but I'm so glad I ended up with these beds. Both of my dogs are getting older and one of them has recently been suffering from arthritis, so I wanted to get them the best beds that I could find and I'm not disappointed. No joke, sometimes my dogs don't move when I get home from work because they are so comfortable in their beds!! I highly recommend this product. Or German Shepherd loves this bed! It’s very comfortable! Our German Shepherd has a lot of problems with her hips and this bed is very soothing and comfortable for her getting up and down! I even get on it with her! Very easy to wash, just remove the cover and throw in the washer! I have a Boxer and they both lye on it together! In the picture we have it covered because she likes to eat her treats on it! I have bought many dog bed and had to re-buy after 4 months, My Great Dane loved this bed the day we got it and continues to have a good night sleep. The bed always returns to full shape after a nights sleep and has not lost's it shape yet. It is waterproof and that was a great feature as well.I highly recommend this dog bed , very good buy for the money.
