The dimensions of the small basket are incorrect. The description states, "COMPACT SIZE: Basket measures 8" x 10" x 7. 75" to fit in any space." The baskets arrived today and the label states, " 8 IN X 10 IN X 8.5IN. To be exact, the hinge to hinge measurement is 8 9/16 IN (just slightly more than 8.5 IN wide).I really needed the baskets to be no more than 8 IN wide to fit in the space that I had planned for. Sadly, I will need to return these.Other than the size, these would have been a 5-star. They are beautiful and the label is a nice added feature. The baskets are great but it only comes with one not two. Misleading. I returned mine! Description makes you think this price is for two baskets (see the "2" in the description). But it is actually only ONE basket. I returned mine. Too much for only one basket. Perfect for our needs to help organize the kitchen. Love the baskets. Lots of space and looks great in my pantry. Love this basket I love anything to do with organization. If you have a lot of stuff, or stuff that just needs a better place.. just organizing it into containers makes it look and feel so much better. This medium sized basket is a good size. I like that there are options of small and large. If you have the vertical height to work with, I definitely recommend grabbing a couple as they have the ability to stack. I like that they can be used to toss stuff into and say kept on a shelf, but if you wanted to grab the whole thing, there are little handles. Whether stacked or standing alone, the possibilities seem endless.I am using mine currently outdoors, under a semi enclosed porch where we keep a table for do-dads. I am using the basket to hold some dog toys. Since it is wire, the dirt and moisture from the balls we throw won't accumulate. When the basket does get dirty, I imagine it will be super easy to wash off.I don't see it mentioned in the description, but the basket comes with a little piece of plain card stock that fits into the front space so you can label the basket if you want. If you accidentally toss it out, it is not a problem to make one to fit. Just grab an index card or sturdy piece of paper. Nice little unexpected addition.I've got nothing negative to say, so 5/5 Happy organizing! :) This basket is perfect for corralling bags of dried beans on my pantry shelf. I can't think of any other uses for it because of the dip down opening in front. For instance single serve chip bags would fall out. But the dried beans, being weighty, can be piled in the basket and stay put. It is made well, attractive, and heavy. There are handles, one on each side, that fold down or flip up. The feet are not padded, just the same black metal as the rest of the basket.
