That thing looks like a toy. The pictures they show are really deceiving. Check the pictures and see how small it is. It will take you hours if you try to clean a decent size room. The worst thing is you can’t return it. So...I am a cleaning lady..I clean everyday of the week...I have a new client that had this mop/bucket, I was skeptical. I tried it and loved it.Let me start with the fact that cleaning laminate Is ALWAYS an issue, There are inevitably streaks to some degree or another, and I have to make it a 2-3 step process job, after the mopping to get it clean, I then windex, bona, swifter wet or some other thing, to get the floor perfect. I can say with great pleasure that those days are over !! As for REAL hardwood, again you have to be careful, to much water sitting on the floor is never a good thing and the swifter wet jet or the bona while doing an ok job , DOES NOT get it clean. There was a review that indicated an awkwardness due to the spin mechanism, causing it to be off balance when you lift it. While this is true, I have found that when you fill the water to the SUGGESTED water line, I have never had a spill issue. I go from room to room, upstairs and downstairs and have never spilled a drop...The other issue stated in reviews was the durability and functionality..I have found to be false, as I said, I clean everyday and have not had any issues..Its used way more then if someone had bought it solely for their personal use alone.I waited till I had the chance to use it often before writing this review..In Short, whilst not getting "kick back" or commission from this company, I should considering most of my clients have purchased this for me to have in their homes. They trust my opinion in its value and its worth and It make my job so much more efficient.Thank you O-Cedar...Nothin could be Neater !!! My Amazon review for my new O-Cedar Easy-Wring Microfiber mop:I need to qualify my review to disclose that I am blessed to be in a position to pay someone else to mop my floors. She couldn't make it over a few weeks ago (I think she's in her 70s so quite frankly I'm surprised she still comes at all) so I attempted to mop the floor myself. In my (i.e., her) utility closet I found a mop pole with a sponge tied on to it with a couple of rolled up plastic bags. Literally. I can't tell if this is what she has been using this whole time but considering that I don't remember EVER buying a mop, much less a replacement head for it, there is no other less mortifying reality. I used it, had to repeatedly adjust the sponge and plastic bag rope, did a horrible job, dropped it on the floor and jumped online to order this mop ASAP. So my disclosure is that I'd be giving five stars to literally anything better than a sponge on a stick.I just used this O-Cedar for the first time. Loved it. Assembled quickly and easily. Uses salad-spinner technology with a foot pedal. Genius! The dampness is customizable (step on the gas for dryer sponge.) Again, I'm hardly a mop expert but it appears to me that keeping the mop head (if that's what you even call it) only lightly damp allows you to exert more pressure to pick up more stubborn grime without creating puddles. Plus the floor dries faster. Then to take off mop head, simply stand on some strands and lift handle up and the head pops right off. Machine washable but lay out to dry (although I haven't done that yet so can't comment on how clean it gets.) And then there's the bonus feature of doubling as a foot-operated salad spinner.Careful on wood floors not to go to fast or else strands bunch up into a "tail" causing you to scrape your floor when pushing forward. My toddler daughter and grandson (don't ask) were so bewildered at Mom/Grandma doing so much manual labor that they were genuinely curious. They literally fought over the mop and took turns mopping. This, needless to say, is a testament to how easy the mop is to use (and how bad of a mother/grandmother I am.)My cleaning lady came back last week and I hugged her and gave her a raise. Although now having tried the O-Cedar Easy-Wring Microfiber Mop I am considering letting my cleaning lady finally retire so I may capitalize on this free child labor. I will definitely be looking into other O-Cedar products to get for their respective birthdays. It broke right out of the box, during first use. We filled the bucket, dunked the mop, starting mopping and crack. Broken pole attachment. Really a flimsy pole, and the locking mechanism to set the length of the mop is poor as well. I would not recommend this product. Okay, so ever since finding this mop on Amazon, I've been excited to try it. In a market of sub-par household cleaning devices, this thing ROCKS! I love this mop so much, I mopped my whole house twice in a row. This mop picks up everything off the floor. Even pebbles that can be left on the floor in corners and pet hair. This mop picks up everything! The wringer is PERFECT. I do a two step process where I first start by getting the floor sopping wet, then I go back through with the mop as dry as I can get it. My floors are completely dry in about 5 minutes. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Please buy this mop! This is my second one. The first one, the foot pedal broke. This one the bucket is leaking.I really like the concept of how works, not that they don't last that long. My last bucket was purchased in February, lasted just two months. The return date was in March. Hope this helps someone else. This is not well made. The handle is supposed to screw together but it falls apart while I am using it. The handle is short, even when extended as far as it will go. I really feel like I got took on this purchase. Let me first say I HATE washing the floor with a regular mop. However, this is FANTASTIC, not only does it do a great job, the floors (both wood, and tiles) look great. Have been raving about this product since I first used it. No more do I hate washing floors, no more wringing out mop heads by hand ugh, this is wonderful. Put the mop head in spinner, spin it dry and just mop. No way could there be an easier and efficient way to clean my floors. Thanks o-cedar!
