This is my third cot and my favorite so far. We moved out of state and have lots of company visit us ~ so we need extra beds without taking up space when not in use. The mattress on this cot is the thickest and most comfortable of the 3 we have. It’s very easy to configure when time to use, and easy to store away when not in use. I live in a very small patio home with 2 bedrooms, one of which I use as my home office. A friend frequently needs temporary lodging for a night or two, but has found that my sofa aggravates a back problem. I took a chance on this fold-out cot, and I couldn't be happier! My friend says it's so comfortable she goes right to sleep when she lies down on it. It's also easy to open & close, and as you can see from the picture, stores easily in my closet. Since it's twin size when it's open, it fits easily in my tiny home office without taking up too much space, but it's still long enough for my 5' 6'' friend. It's also sturdy enough to hold her weight (about 165 lbs) and her dog (about 40 lbs). I consider this guest bed a real bargain for the price! Great guest bed!! Super comfortable and have gotten lots of compliments. My mother in-law has hip problems and is sensitive to hard mattresses. She slept really well and had no complaints. I love how easy it is to store also. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a small and convenient guest bed. This rollaway bed is great for small spaces. It is narrow enough to fit in a tight space but long enough and comfortable for a tall adult (6ft). Mattress is not too thin and it folds up to fit under a bed or in a corner. Great buy! Bought this last minute for some visiting guests. It came on time, but the box was open and damaged, with several large holes that made me wonder what I'd find when I took the bed out of the packaging...bad enough that I made the UPS delivery person document the damage and took photos before taking the bed out of the box. There was minimal protection for the bed mechanism or mattress; just a cardboard box around the whole thing. The frame was a little scratched but luckily not damaged or deformed; the mattress luckily was not torn or punctured but I wish everything had been packaged with a little more attention to safe shipping. The frame was very lightweight and extremely easy to set up...pretty much just unfold and done. The mattress fluffed up quickly; and had no weird odors. My 19 year old niece said it was quite comfortable to sleep on and that the mattress didn't slide around at all on the frame. The mattress and frame are skinnier than a normal twin mattress; so a larger person MIGHT not be as comfortable or feel as stable on this as my niece or I did. The frame felt stable, but I wonder how it would feel for a heavier person. I only had full and queen size bedding, so I just wrapped a fitted sheet around the mattress and used a doubled over queen sheet for the top sheet...worked fine for our purposes. With the exception of the lousy packaging I'm very happy with the purchase; it seemed like a very good value for the money; will see how it holds up over time and additional use. This is a great little bed! I slept comfortably on it for 3 nights. I wish it was slightly longer and wider but for money you can’t beat it. I purchased this cot for my 72 year old father to use while camping. Wear and tear has taken its toll on his back so he needed something more than your typical camping cot. This item worked perfectly. The cot was fairly sturdy. The person using it weighs 150 lbs and it held up well. The cot itself is relatively comfortable without the mattress. There are no areas where the bars dig into your back. IT is made from a tight piece of materials supported by springs along the edges connecting it to the frame.The mattress itself is about 3" thick and I would rate it as medium firm. IT was comfortable and didn't get hot like many foam mattresses.All in all, this is a perfect alternative to a camping cot. Great portable mattress! It folds up and becomes compact and thin, so it’s great for apartments or people who don’t want to have to store something bulky. Comfy as well. Love that it came with the frame that folds in half and clips shut. Extra tip: I had a full size mattress pad laying around, and surprisingly, it fits on the mattress if you fold the long sides under the mattress.
