My Ektorp sofa has had three covers. It came with an off white cover that I loved and washed great, but got ruined in a move with dark grease. Then I ordered green and it was okay for a few years, but I love the dark red color. I currently have this sofa in a spare room and this red looks great with a few throw pillows added. The white showed too much dog hair and I had to clean it frequently. The green was nice too, but the red really pops. Quality is fine. I have not had to wash it as of yet, but when I do it will be on cold and without putting in the dryer. I just received mine and it was for a regular three seat sofa with no chaise lounge. My return is in process and I am going to try and purchase again. Im hoping I will be sent the correct product this time. The color is slightly darker than the original Ikea dark grey and the fabric is different but it's nice. I'm willing to give it a try for the cheaper price.I received my exchange today and it's perfect so I updated my review. It is easier to put on than the Ikea cover because the fabric has slightly more give and it fits perfectly, looks great. I'm very happy with this purchase. So I got an IKEA couch for free from a neighbor but it was brown. I didn’t know the exact configuration they had selected for their Extorp but found a blog that had the chaise cushion as a seat cushion and they said it was the Love Seat And Chaise option. I took a gamble not knowing for sure and it fit PERFECTLY!!! I have 3 pieces left over but the fact I didn’t have to get them custom made was a blessing!!! So excited to brighten up our room!! I am amazed how will the cover fit. I like the chaise cushion is in its own cover unlike the original IKEA cover. I will definitely by again. The cover is a nice and affordable replacement for the IKEA cover, but I’m very unhappy with the fabric. I got it in light grey cotton and it attracts every piece of fluff and lint from dark clothing. So much so, it looks dirty within a day or two. I’m very disappointed. I've ordered this cover twice now and each time I was shipped the wrong thing. There is no cover for the chaise portion included in the package. I would not recommend. I'm really disappointed because I wanted this to work out. Original IKEA product. i really love my seat in living room. The color is great. The fit is perfect. It may take a couple days for the wrinkles to work out and for the cushions to settle in. In the end, it's less expensive than the Ikea version and just as good. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.
