I love this show, but fix the order, please! You've got episodes mistitled and out of order. Most of the episodes were mislabeled and out of order. First episode "La Galleria Part I" was really "Barefoot Bobs" and so it went. Part I episodes would be followed by an new restaurant instread of Part II. Separating the part I and part II episodes of the same restaurant was like switching channels in the middle of a soap opera. If I could see re-runs of Kitchen Nightmares someplace other than Amazon I would give this the lowest rating. Really frustrating. This version begins with Season 5. Seasons 1 and 2 were great but why after that season 3 they censored the bad words that's just annoying I liked it when it was uncensored to be honest I love this show and I love Ramsey. I find myself googling the restaurants after the episode to see if they are open or closed. True, the majority are closed, and not many are still open, but I don't think that's because Ramsey failed, I think it's because either the stubborn people didn't stick to his advice, or the restaurant was just too far gone to save.I'd give this series five stars easy, but I knocked one off because the episodes are out of order and often mislabeled. A couple episodes even duplicated. Amazon really needs to get it together and clean up a lot of their shows, because this isn't the only show that's like this. Spoilers for every episode, caution. All the stories are the same: 1) The kitchens are always filthy and disgusting. 2) Gordon always asks if something is fresh and is told it is and later they determine it was frozen or canned. 3) The owner / manager always flips out and gets angry despite asking for Gordon's help. Drama ensues and Gordon must bring them back (physically or emotionally) 4) Minor kitchen and front of house new equipment or slight makeover brings glimmer of hope and enthusiasm. 5) The first night of "relaunch" goes well, but unexpectedly, they get overwhelmed. Shockingly, on the first night of a bran new menu AND packed restaurant something goes wrong, but in the end they pull it together. They are now a "team" or "family" again. 6) Formerly angry owner / manager now love Gordon and sees a bright future! I watched the BBC version first and transitioned to the US version. I have to admit there is a softer side of Gordon on the BBC version but honestly I like the U.S version more. I am guiltily in love with this show and binge watched all the episodes. This is a great TV series and I love how they show you the raw reality of people before and after Ramsey's intervention. The cursing from Ramsey is used frequently but I honesty don't care, after a while I don't even notice it. All in all it's a damn good show. Yes, Chef Ramsay is brutally honest and rude AF. However, the man has a BS detector. No BS, no problem. On the other hand, if He sniffs BS from any business, he goes for the jugular.Excellent learning experiences for all restaurants that want to learn from the Chef. Once he believes a person has passion, he gives much that he always has to offer.Truly a heartwarming Series once you get to know the Chef and his methods. He has a short time with these businesses. His method cuts thru the fat of the issue. Many times, the most stubborn and irate people, turn to be the most appreciative. Outside the box, its clear. Inside, these busineses are blind and in denial. Very entertaining for anyone, since we all eat out sometimes. I love this show and love Gordon Ramsey. He pulls no punches in trying to wake people up that are in a sleep of denial. He uses salty language and brutal honesty, often very funny, to punctuate the litany of problems that are killing a restaurant. He's not afraid to tell someone they're simply sh--. But in actuality, he's got a big heart, is incredibly knowledgeable, and his producers and editors know what they're doing to make the episodes tell the story.
