This was purchased as a tool to recognize certain psychoanalytic developmental milestones and in assessing the transformational self. The movie was great for the assignment, however, overall the movie was not interesting at all! love Lena I really like this film. Lena Dunham is quirky and smart. I realize she can be polarizing, but I admire her creativity and fearlessness. If one cares about the behavior of entitled Manhattan millennials, this is definitely worth watching. Also speaks some truth about the dynamics of any family. Lena Dunham is, it goes without saying, very talented. Did not watch the entire movie - spoiled young adults, living off parents in NYC. I can't believe someone make this movie! I am couldn't see a point to it., no purpose no interesting plot. Young women's sad existent with no indication she learns anything and no way out and no happy ending... such a watch of time to watch itWaste of time..... I love this movie. Not a lot happens in this movie. It aims to portray the feeling of being back at home after graduating from college, a time when many of us feel a weird disconnected drift. It does this. By not with the same dynamism or excitement that Dunham writes into "Girls".
