The first thing I will say about these tables is they are tiny, and I do mean tiny. However, if you've priced nightstands and end tables lately you know you can spend a small fortune for one. I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars and I'd give it somewhere in the middle. It's great that you can get 2 tables for this price but they are so short and you have to be ready to assemble them as well. I am posting a picture so you can see it in relation to the bed. It is actually a pretty good value. The key is to set your expectation for what you will get.
They were small end tables and PERFECT for a toddler bedroom!!!
You get what you pay for is absolutely true with this product. It was just delivered to me so I was excited to put it together to start using in my new apartment and its already broke. Screws broke off in the cheap chipboard they use, also nothing lines up with the holes. Will be throwing this away and would never buy again........
This item just came in the mail and I am very disappointed :-( not one piece came out of the box without showing some damage ... I'm attaching pictures
I can't complain too much given the price, but the veneer on these is so cheap. There are small stickers on the product to show you which piece corresponds to the printed directions. When I pulled those stickers off, the faux wood veneer peeled right off with them.
These were to inexpensive to deal with the hassle of a return, otherwise I'd have sent them back. The directions are clear, assembly was pretty easy and the design is nice, but the materials are cheap as all get-out.
My boyfriend and I just moved across the country, so we needed to replenish most of our furniture upon arrival. Because we'll only be here for a year, our budget wasn't super huge. We just needed some cheap end tables that matched to go on either side of the couch.
These guys were absolutely perfect. You get a set of two for under $40 - it doesn't get much cheaper than that. Heck, it's cheaper than Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace! While they aren't the most sturdy things, they are more than what I expected for the price. They actually look much more expensive than they are - it's only when you touch them and feel the cheap particleboard construction that you actually realize they are bargain end tables.
They were super easy to put together as well. My boyfriend assembled both in under 15 minutes with only a few tools. I love how much stuff they can hold - as you see in the pictures, we loaded them up with junk and there's still room for more. The included storage drawers are a nice touch. They aren't attached to anything, but rather, are fabric inserts you can just pull in or out at your leisure. Silly me, I thought they were actually attached drawers, but honestly, this style functions better anyway.
I can't recommend these enough. They're the perfect height for setting down drinks without needing to lean way over the couch, and they fit well into the small corner space we have.
I should have looked at the dimensions better before ordering... these are TINY. With a standard bed frame, these are akin to dollhouse furniture. They would be much more suitable for a platform or kid's bed. That being said, they were very easy to put together (20-25 for both), all the pieces arrived, most of the pre-drilled holes were correct (one was out of alignment). Some of the finishes were already scratched, but you get what you pay for. I would rate the quality as about the same was Walmart furniture. These were a quick fix for my situation and they shipped quickly. Wish they were taller though...
The end tables are delivered as a pair in a timely manner as promised. It looks smaller than I expected, because the vase and tea cup are smaller in the photo than my regular tea cup and vase. Maybe it was an espresso cup, and the vase is a small fishbowl from the fair.
The end tables are 17 1/2 “ tall, just about the height of a small couch, but six inches lower than my bed. It comes with all the parts. Nothing was missing. The boards are compressed wood, and very dusty. Wear gloves to assemble. I had to wash my hands a few times.
The two slats on the bottom did not have scratches, but the surfaces of both end table tops had a scratch in the same area. See picture.
Overall, I’m okay with the quality. The cloth drawers are similar to the ones sold by IKEA, but shorter. The lighter tan color accentuates the dark wood laminent color of the end table, and makes then looks chic.
It took about half an hour to assemble. You’ll need a hammer at the end to nail in the plastic tips on the bottom to prevent wear on the carpet/hardwood floors because they are unfinished; or the plastic nail tips are to prevent wear on the end tables if your floor is tile, or rougher than the unfinished floor touching surface of the tiny table. This table might be perfect for a tiny house.
A plus sign screw driver is all you need for the assembly of the end tables. They make a nice table or desk space to do homework for a three to five-year-old child.
