These are great furniture straps!!!Pros:1. Everything is metal. The strap is metal, the screws are metal, and the attachment to the furniture and wall is metal. It feels very safe as a parent of a climbing toddler.2. Anchors for the screws were also included to insure the wall holds the screw in place.Cons:1. I honestly think this speaks to the sturdiness, but it is fairly major to install, involving four screws and two screw anchors. If it keeps my child safe, though, I think it's worth it!!! I put this stand behind this big furniture and it has held tight. Easy to put on the wall, but remember to try to nail it to the wood. I got this for my brother in law because his son recently got hurt trying to climb the dresser. Since we have more little cousins and kids coming into the house for the holiday I recently purchased these to save them! I am writing this review in excitement because I saw it live in effect as the kids were trying to climb the dresser again and this time the dresser did not move! Obviously got the kids off the furniture and didn't even have to worry about furniture or the injury of the kids.Super-strong, and really easy to install. I seriously love this item because it has saved so much trouble in taking care of all the kids coming over to the house. Baby proofing our home now. Ever since my sweet little angel started to walk she turned into mini version of Hulk. Dressers, chests, bookshelves, vitrines, entertainment centers are no longer safe. I installed this for now on a tall and narrow dresser in my child's room to prevent it from tipping over. The steel cable and mounting brackets are very well made. To me using non-rusting metal cable is indicative of the top quality that the manufacturer put into this product. Easy installation is an added bonus. Furniture straps are necessary with little kids at home. Even though kids know that they are not supposed to climb up furnitures to play but they still do anyway. I can’t watch them all the time and cannot take the chance of falling furniture so I have to use furniture strap as a safety precaution on dressers and taller furnitures at home. These straps are easy to install and holding the dressers and furnitures stable. I bought these for the Dollie and Me dollhouse (6 foot tall, 5 foot wide) that my daughter got for Christmas. we bought it and it didnt come with hardware. My 1 year old likes to climb and the dollhouse was a huge concern when my son likes to play in my daughters room. So far, this holds well even after my one year tries to climb it. Accident free....so far. These furniture anchors are great! I absolutely how solid they are. I had furniture anchors prior to these and they were made out of plastic and just flimsy. These are so much better! With two overly rambunctious children who have selective hearing I feel so much better letting them play in their room without constant supervision. That’s a relief! Transitioning our son to a toddler bed requires anchoring all other furniture so he doesn't get out of bed, climb and get hurt. I wanted something sturdy and this is but my high marks also come from any item that comes an d matches its original description. Truth in advertising goes a long way with me.
