I make a breakfast and lunch salad before work every day and this makes it much easier. I hated running back and forth to make room on the cutting board. I get all my stuff out, washed, and just get to choppin'. Then I simply remove the tray and take all my scraps and throw them out back for the wildlife, and rinse it clean. I love it! Because I am short in stature I was concerned about adding a cutting board on top of the "chopping board". However, that was not a problem. I have used my board several times and find it easier to contain my "leavings" in the tray. Great idea! The cutting surface is bigger than you think and the tray is perfect to catch scraps or keeps. It’s hefty and it does not slip on my granite counters. I got the yellow and love it! Worked really well when cutting veggies. Wish it was a little smaller because it didn't fix in my sink. I had to turn it sideways. I love it
