I recently caught one of these in a minimalist's video and loved the idea of getting even a drying mat off of the counter. I wasn't sure if it would fit well over my sink which dips quite low in the center, but I checked the dimensions of several and went for one a bit larger which worked. This is seriously a great addition to the kitchen. I love having more counter space wherever possible and when items dry, I put them away quickly because they're not sitting to the side maybe or maybe not dry. It's also is a great place to set cleaned produce as you prep.I wasn't totally sure about this mat because it only had 1 review, but it appears to be high quality, strong, and is a great size. This is so misleading. The title says large but actually it is small. I can barely fit 3 bowls and a plate to dry. I didnt like it so am returning it. I have a tiny counter spot next to the sink, and I was looking for tiny dish racks and saw this. It's awesome. It creates usable space over my double sink. I water my plants and let them drain on this. I wash my dishes and they drain with air circulation. You can even use it as a cooling rack! Best discovery, ever :) I bought the Attom Tech roll up dish rack intending to keep kittens out of my sink and garbage disposal. The 17.7" x 15.5" rack fits perfectly across half of my standard stainless double kitchen sink, as intended. However, it is fairly lightweight and the kittens can pull it away. As a more conventional use, the rack is convenient when washing vegetables or other light items that need to drip dry. However, the rods are not as sturdy as I hoped and I wouldn't set anything too heavy on them. The plastic edging that holds the rods allows this rack to easily fold over or roll up, and when rolled it conveniently fits into the dishwasher. I didn’t realize I would like this so much. It’s a minimalist way to dry dishes without all sorts of contraptions on my counter. I like the low profile and the ease of rolling up the rack when not in use. Works well for cups and plates but silverware can fall through the slats if not placed on the perpendicular. I wish they had a larger size to accommodate the other side of my sink. I have a 60/40 sink that I love, this is on the 40 side. I've had this for a few weeks. A couple nights a week I dry a pot or pan on it overnight, and in the morning I put it away. It's already starting to rust in several areas. I'm not submerging it at all. A drying rack should not be rusting so easily. Disappointed. I am surprised how amazing this product is! It has so many different uses not to mention how it makes cutting up things like broccoli a very clean job!I have now purchased these as gifts since they are that amazing. This product is exactly as pictured, is functional, and does exactly what I needed it to do. It is very easy to install, use, and clean. If you're a single person in the household and don't have a ton of dishes being washed all at once, this is perfect in the amount of dishes/utensils it holds at once. And it is a much more sanitary option than just piling the clean wet dishes in the spare side of the sink, where it may not dry fast enough and could invite bacteria growth. This over-the-sink model allows the dishes to dry from the top, bottom, and sides for maximum drying efficiency and speeds up the time you have to wait to put them back in the cupboard. 10/10 would recommend!
