Purchase for my child care.. Received 04/06/15. What a BIG HIT!!! ALL love it! I was on my own to put it together and that was difficult, but I got it!Right away I noticed the storage areas in the kitchen, were not really great (we already had food etc we wanted to use also) The kiddos would put things away and the next kiddo that opened the door .. all falls out! LOL I FIXED THAT! I took measurements of each little cubby hole, bought some duct tape and contact paper- and an old box. I MADE small boxes to fit each little cabinet in this kitchen. Some I velcrod into place.. everything is put away and STAYS :) I also added some stick on cup hooks to hang the pans and cups! I am THRILLED with this so far :) Awesome. Was easy and the sticker quality was great. I did some upgrades hehe. Best toy I have ever bought for my daughter. I would suggest doing the upgrades in my pictures to make storage a little bit easier and the chain across the spice rack helped keep the toys in place. Just went to target and got the hooks for like 2 bucks and the chain was from Lowe's in the metal section and just got 4 washers and 4 screws and bam 2 rail guards for the spice rack.. Oh the spice rack came from Lowe's too and did the same for chain just 2 screws and 2 washers. The kids love the set, there's no question about that. Very detailed, lots of accessories... 5 stars. But the build itself was one if the worse experiences I've ever had building a kid's toy in my life. Took hours, the instructions literally have no writing, just small, poor black & white photos. They expect you to get the screw driver into small areas, where you have literally no leverage to drive the screws through un-pre-drilled plastic. It was torture, I'd rather have three vasectomies than build this ever again. The manufacturer is sadistic. -3 Stars. I did a thorough search on play kitchens before purchasing this kitchen. I was looking for sturdy and large for my 2 and 6 year old to play with. Reviews of the product and measurements had me convinced that this was it! But I was way wrong. The size of this is so compact that it's almost too small for my 2 1/2 year old to comfortably play in. It hinestly looks and feels like a mini version of what I saw in reviews and the description. None of the screw holes were pre drilled and some have to go in at an awkward angle, so putting it together was more than difficult when trying to drill through plastic without a straight shot. Quite a bit of the peices came warped so they wouldn't align properly and had to be forced into place. The grill top was completely smashed/bent and took hours of maneuvering in order to be put on correctly (it's still crooked).. overall, with all of the hype of this kitchen, I am very disappointed in the quality for the price. We gave this to our 2 year old grand daughter for her birthday. We live several states apart ☹️, and the playhouse arrived in 2 large boxes at my son’s house. My son and daughter in law put the kitchen together during their daughter’s nap (about 2 hours). Overall, the playhouse went together fairly well. However, my son said there are no drill holes, just small indentions . Due to this, he still has not been able to attach one corner of the “roof”. This has not had a detrimental impact on the stability though. (My son used a power drill and still struggled). My granddaughter loves this kitchen. She squealed when she saw it and ran to play in it. All of us are impressed with the number of “extras” that come with the kitchen....pots, cups, plastic ware, food, etc. The cabinet doors, stove, microwave, fridge and stove all open. For less than $200, this is a fantastic buy. They will keep the kitchen indoors. Since there is no roof, I don’t know how well it would last outdoors. This is an awesome kitchen. My husband and I have checked out so many kitchens and decided to get this one for our son. We all love this play kitchen. There are 2 frying pans, 2 pots and one kettle that all work (making sizzling or bubbling sounds appropriately) on the stove top. The bubbling sound actually gets faster and faster which is a nice touch. The grill is fantastic and has 2 knobs and a button that make appropriate sounds while lighting up. It also comes with LOTS of accessories including play food, 5 spice bottles, 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 forks, knives and spoons, 1 colander, 1 ladle, 1 spatula, 1 serving spoon, and 1 pasta serving spoon. While this kitchen is fantastic, for the price of around $200, I would also have liked working buttons on the microwave, refrigerator, and oven. The phone is so quiet that you have to put it up to your ear to hear the buttons working. My husband and I added lights to the kitchen to make it even more realistic. We may even cut out the grill window and put clear plastic there instead so that you can see into the grill as its lighting up. I believe this kitchen has lots and lots of storage but I saw that at least one reviewer didn't think so. With that said, the plates don't fit inside the cabinets.I ditched most of the play food and bought play food from Learning Resources since I like their quality and selection of foods better. Baby has one a daycare that he is obsessed with, so we got him this one for his 1st birthday. He spends SO MUCH TIME in there. It really gives us a break. There are over 100 pieces that go with it and it will grow with him. I see us using it for many years. The only downside is that putting it together requires 2-3hours WITH a power drill and I did it by myself. One of the top arches of the kitchen won't go in the holes designated for it...so we weren't able to screw it in. My husband will have to make the holes larger or something so that we can. Also, it is AWFUL to do with a screwdriver, I highly suggest using a power drill. But then it's hard to get in the really close areas under the panels where the power drill is too bulky. But once it was put together, it was great!
