Amazing and highly affordable sit/stand desk. I purchased the 55" model for a new home office project as I am strictly work from home now and needed to seperate myself from distrations and noise in our open style home. The Desk itself is sturdy (no problem raising or lowering our 27" apple cinema display and iMac), the motors are ultra quite, the display is intuitive to use and easily accessible. It took my wife and I around an hour to unbox and assemble with a small electric screwdriver and Allen key bit (I don't use keyboard trays so I left it in the box and ommited it from our build so your build time may vary from ours). What I appreciated most during the build was the clearly labeled parts bags and the decently written instruction booklet, bravo on that Fezibo! Overall I am very pleased with the function and astetics of this desk, I highly recommend.
I don’t write many reviews, but I felt I had to on this product. This thing is amazing and is changing the way I work. I’ve been sitting behind a desk for the past 8 years and the last 2 days, I was able to stand and work for big part of the day. The shipment came quick and I give it 5 stars for value. If you didn’t know, currently there is a desk shortage and desk prices have shot through the roof. It comes in a very small box which kinda freaked me out at first. Don’t let that scare you. It’s very easy to put together, although when you first open it and look at all the pieces, you may think it would be hard. It took me about 1 hour to put it together by myself. The directions were some of the better ones I’ve had in the past 5 years. All in all I, love it and would buy it again in a second if I needed to.
*Update 9/21/2020: It's been almost a week and the motor has struggled several times while lifting. I'm not confident this motor will last very long. I felt like I needed to change from 3 to 2 stars because of this.
I’ll start off stating that I have used several stand up desks, a few from Ikea, an uplift, and also a manual one. This is the second dual motor desk I’ve used, and points go to Fezibo on this one. It’s pretty quiet, lifts evenly and quickly, and doesn’t wobble too much on the way up. The legs/base are the clear winners here, strong motor and pretty stable. The keyboard tray is fine, yet wobbly, but it works. I would say the cable management tray is the best feature, maybe the cheapest made feature, but wow do I love hiding all my cables and power strip.
Now onto to the not so great. Instructions are not good, they are very minimal and not clear in any way. With that said, if you have assembled any Ikea products you should be alright. There is a video on the product page and it’s somewhat helpful.
The desk top is fine, it’s a like laminate board, feels flimsy and not sure I would trust a monitor mount on it (along with the flimsy build, it’s 4 separate pieces, so not sure how it would handle the weight of my 27” monitor). Not sure if the scratches and paint ships are from shipping or from manufacturer, although, I would guess from manufacturer because it was packaged really well. The desk top has more paint chips and scratches that I would consider acceptable (I know shipped furniture can be risky).
Overall, there are a lot of motorized stand up desk options out there. This is one, and if you like two tone desk tops, then this is a decent option. But be aware you will most likely have a great base and subpar desk top.
I really like this table a lot but the quality of the wood is lacking. The screws on the side does not hold the wood and the legs together. Tried to move the table backward a little bit and all 4 screws on the left side falls out. Also on the table top I noticed that the black paint chipped off a little bit and someone use a sharpie to color it back in. Did i get a returned item??? Also i noticed there is gaps on the table ???
I'm so happy to have made this purchase. This desk really made my workspace dynamic, clean, and usable. It is very stable, especially when moving up and down all the time. I highly recommend this product.
Heads up, the white section comes in two pieces, which I didn't seem to notice in the pictures.. That's on me I guess. What's on them is the fact that I got the wrong screws and can not attach the keyboard tray (essentially making standing impossible without looking down causing neck strain, until I find a replacement screw at Lowes with similar diameter and thread size). The whole reason I got this package instead of just the legs? It came with the keyboard tray, accessory hooks, and the cable tray. 1 of those 3 things I can't even use and now I have cracks down my desk when I could have built my own natural wood top and stained it (which would have looked way nicer... especially with a live edge).
My advice? If you're on the fence and you are considering making you're own top then Do It. Save the money (or spend more for something really nice from another manufacturer or local lumberyard). Just get the dual motor frame from these guys and hope that they include the right screws for that part at least.
-.5 star for splice in white board (should have guessed)
-.5 star for missing screws (or wrong screws, I should say.. they sent the wrong diameter and quantity)
-1 star for customer support not responding to the contact form submissions on their company website
-1 star for still no response or customer reach out and having to buy my own screws at the hardware store
Oh and the cable tray accessory is just a flat piece of metal you have to fold/bend into shape yourself (and it's very easy apply pressure unevenly and warp the shape as it's very flimsy). There's probably way sturdier alternatives from third parties.
