I purchased this headboard because it matched a dresser that I purchased from IKEA. I wish I had read more of the reviews before purchasing. The first problem I had was assembly. The holes for the screws did not match up so I had to force the screws in. Once it was assemble I noticed a gap between the top of the headboard and where the legs are attached.The second issue was attaching it to my bed frame. The predrilled holes in the legs do not go all the way through so I had to finish drilling the holes to attach the headboard to my frame. I would have returned the item if not for the hassle.

Quite a few cracks in this piece. Unfortunately they all seem to be on the front where they are visible. I would return it and order another one but, reading through the comments here, it seems the likelyhood is high that the replacement will also have cracks. The styling is nice, and the color is perfect for our little girl's room, but it just seems very cheaply made. Large gap where the top board attaches (can see light through it) and cracks make it not such a deal.
On a side note, it easily attached to our standard metal bed frame and the company sends 1 extra of every piece of hardware so you shouldn't have to worry about missing any pieces. I wish they took the same approach to making sure the wood wasn't split.

The reason I gave this headboard a three star was for two reasons. First, the product info for this headboard listed the height at 44.2 inches high. Unfortunately, the top of the headboard I measured is 49.5 inches high. I was planning on placing the bed below my window sill (photo shown) which now I can't. Also, there was a wood dent (photo shown) that was painted over. As a former high school shop teacher, my students would never cover-up a dent like this. Other than the wrong advertised height, the price for this headboard is reasonable.

This headboard was a piece of junk. Other reviews note that this is pieced together, but I never imagined some of the pieces were REALLY small pieces. There were areas on the spindles that were more glue than wood. I bought 2 nightstands from the same company, and am really pleased with the quality, but this headboard was the worst.

This was by far the crappiest piece of furniture I have ever purchased ! It arrived And I went to put it together and all the pre-drilled holes are too thin that the bolts didn’t fit into it .Not only that , none of the holes lined up .I returned it ,stayed home from work so the UPS person could bring a new one and take the old one. I went to go put the new one together and again the pre-drilled holes are too thin and the holes are not lined up. I got fed Up and went to the hardware store ,Bought a drill bit to make bigger holes and got longer bolts. Nope !!! That didn’t work and I don’t even know what type of material it is but I couldn’t even drill new holes to try and make it work.I could see one having a problem but after returning it and getting another with the exact same issues I would warn you to stay away now I’m stuck with wood that is absolutely useless because now I can’t return it.

The height of the holes for attaching to the bed isn't good--it hasn't matched with long or short legs on my new bed. In the high position, it was too far off the floor, and in the low position, only one set of screw holes is the right size for the bracket attaching it to my bed. I need to make some adjustments and try again--if nothing else it'll require drilling new holes to make it the right height.
It's otherwise great, and pretty sturdy. There were some issues putting it together--I carefully used a drill (on reverse) to clear out wood residue from some of the screw holes in order to bolt the legs onto the board itself, then it went on. Before that, things wouldn't go in far enough to insert and turn the screws into place. Wasn't too happy about that (I have a disability and probably should've asked for help), but it worked out easily enough, and that was easier than a return.

The top board on the headboard was damaged when we opened the box. My husband is going to try to repair the break. The headboard has other minor flaws that look like scratches in the paint.

Can't beat the price on this queen headboard. We are just setting up our second home in Florida. Furniture is not cheap as we all know. Looked at all the headboards in this price range on Amazon and went by others reviews. Glad I did. This came well packaged. Beautiful color grey. No damage or scratches. Took my husband very little time to put on bed. The back is nice and high not short like some of the wooden headboards were. Very sturdy and well made.
Looks like a headboard I almost purchased at a furniture store for much more money. Glad I purchased this one.
I highly recommend. Great price and really finishes off the bed.

What a piece of garbage! If I could give it zero stars I would. Ordered through amazon prime and it came with a big crack in it and they said I needed to pay return shipping! None of the pieces even fit together I had to saw them down for them to fit! AND there was paint drip marks all over the headboard. Don’t waste your money like I did - this thing is a huge piece of garbage!
