The Secura 1500 Watt Large Capacity 3.2-Liter, 3.4 QT, Electric Hot Air Fryer is a nice air fryer. It is a very good size for my wife and I. We have used it for making some very tasty roasted vegetables, sweet potato and white potato fries (with a minimum of added fat), and some pretty good croutons for our salads. The knobs for temperature and time control and the ease of clean-up on the non-stick surfaces of the pans are major pluses for this fryer. I would highly recommend this air fryer.
I LOVE this kitchen appliance. I really wondered if I wanted this new appliance BUT it is the best purchase of this year. My husband and I are empty nesters so it’s perfect for the two of us. I love that it gets to temp quickly, anything I would cook in an oven, I use this. Clean up is a breeze. I’ve talked others into buying it. Now, for family size cooking, I would recommend a toaster oven convection appliance but for two, it’s more than perfect.
I didn't know what an air fryer was until my husband told me about it. We were debating between this and a toaster oven. This is amazing. It's kind of similar to a toaster oven but it'll make everything super crispy. We use this daily to cook our frozen veggies patties and breakfast corn dogs. We also make nachos and hash browns. Haven't tried cooking veggies or meat in here. Probably never will. You can also put in cookie dough in it! We used sugar cookie batter and it came out super well.
I just got this in the mail today and I couldn’t wait to use it. It’s going to take a while to get used to everything. I first made skewers with chicken and potatoes. The chicken cooked faster than the potatoes so I had to take them apart and cook the potatoes a little longer. They were so good! The chicken was tender and juicy. Next I decided to make fried pickles and they were amazing. I can’t wait to see what other things I can make!
I was excited to try out this fryer. Unpacked the box and I actually read the instruction book because I have never owned an air fryer. The basket would not come out - the clear release basket cover would not move forward (or even backwards) to be able to access the release buttons. Contacted Amazon who said this is a common issue because she herself had calls about the same thing. We called the seller, customer service rep said, "umm, I'll have my manager contact you". Received an email a day later with a message that had been cut and pasted from the instruction book....
Defective product, worse customer service. It's a shame - it looked nice..........
I love this air fryer. I purchases it because I wanted to try an air fryer but I didn't want to spend a huge sum of money - afterall, what if I didn't like it - I'd be out a chunk of change. This fryer is amazing!!! Just a quick spray of Pam and a few minutes in the air fryer and food comes out as if it was deep fried. I have over cooked french fries - I didn't realize how much faster it is than an ordinary oven - but I learned to check my food and stop or cook more. I have plans to use this fryer for a while then upgrade to a fancier digital one. My only complaint is that the kabob skewers are really small. you can only make about 4 inch kabobs and they sit so close together in the rack...it just doesn't work for me. This is a great entry level fryer and the price is good for the product. I'm very happy!!!
I think I could cook just as well by sitting the food in front of my electric room heater. Maybe better ! This air fryer only goes up to 300 degrees. Does not even cook French fries.
This was a Christmas gift for a family member. It turns on however quit heating after 9 months of use.
I emailed the manufacturer and they responded within 20 minutes. They apologized for the inconvenience and will be shipping a new unit.
I would absolutely consider purchasing a Secura brand product again, even if it were a little more expensive, simply because of the level of customer service. I say this not because they are replacing the product but also because their response time was, in my opinion, unbelievably fast.
I have a Philips Version and it is very well made. This Secura I got as a replacement to Molla(which is crappy) The Secura is much better than the Molla because the of better dials and features(skewers). I gave the Secura 4 stars because is a cheap build compared to the Philips and I had to clean it and run it empty(to burn off smells) and clean it again to reduce to plastic smell... Also make sure you remove the dumb rubber foot in the basket because it does nothing and it is rubber... Bend the tray up a small bit so it has air space underneath.. That said if your wanting a cheap unit Secura has you covered. But if you have the cash go Philips. One more thing, the Secura is nice and quite vs even the Philips. Also the Sucura runs hot so go less than recommended for better results. Mix around fries two to threes times per batch. Less in the basket always works better. I think that's it... Have fun because Air Fryers are awesome :)
Awesome. Purchased the air fryer from the warehouse and not a scratch or imperfection on it. And it works amazingly. Already made homemade fries and salmon steaks and I've only opened the box 45 minutes ago. This is going to be a true and long love affair.
Great piece of equipment. Only problem I had before use was trying to get it open! Not explained and rather flimsy plastic part. But, I got it, used it and am pleased. Thank you.
Did not do the job for me. Resold in consignment store shortly after.
very easy to clean, the fries and chicken I cooked was golden brown, good product.
It's easy quick enough and no mess.
I love it!

Love my air dryer. So easy to use and food tastes great.
Love that the basket comes out and is easy to clean
Easy to use. So many cooking possibilities. My family eats more often at home now because of this.
Perfect
Very easy to clean. Have not used this hot air fryer often but makes decent fries.
Very nice, as expected. Convenient to use
WORKS WELL, JUST LIKE A PHILLIPS AIRFRYER, BUT FOR A LOWER PRICE
