I am planning on using this reading light primarily with a Kindle, but I can see it can be used with any type of book or device that needs to be accessed in the dark. The set-up is easy...ready to go right out of the box. It is important to charge it before use as it did not turn on until I had done so (a USB cord is included and can be used with a USB charger not included). Indicator lights on the clip show how much power is left. The switch is on the top of the light (see photo) and is a soft touch type of switch. You just have to touch it to turn on the light. Each touch cycles through the 3 lighting modes (cool white, amber, cool white and amber, and then back to off. I prefer the combo amber and cool white setting, but it is easy to read on all three settings. (See photos for an example of each...amber, cool white, both). The clip is very sturdy and holds the light in place very well. It also opens wide to accommodate a variety of sizes. The flexible gooseneck is rubber coated and very strong. Overall, this is a great little light and will be a wonderful way to read at night. Only suggestion would be to include step by step startup instructions beginning with the need to fully charge the unit before using and emphasizing the fact that it is a light touch switch that is located on the top of the light. With the light and icon for the switch both being black, it is easy to miss when first looking at the unit. I highly recommend taking a look at this product, especially for the price!

This light is perfect! I absolutely love this thing. The 3 different light setting of white, amber, and a mix of both are perfect for night time reading and make it so much easier to fall asleep without reading nest to a bright bedside lamp. The light isn't too heavy to clip onto a paperback book and not having to replace batteries is such a convenience! The option to dim the light in each setting is such a great option. I have to order a second on for my son! I highly reccomend this to any avid reader!
