I suffer with PTSD and Anxiety so I have wanted to see if the weighted blanket fad would really be a help...

The first day trying it out I thought it was completely useless. I guess I expected some sort of immediate results and it just didn't happen. It just felt like I had a bunch of covers on which wasn't very comfortable. I normally have to lay on my side but it wasn't very comfortable to me do I ended up sleeping all night on my back.
When I woke up I didn't want to get up. The weighted blanket seemed to have me in a pretty deep sleep and I didn't want to get out of it. I eventually got up and didn't notice anything special except I did get a better night's sleep.

Night two I tried it again and fell asleep pretty quickly. I don't believe I turned at all throughout the night or woke up once. I woke up to my alarm and still found it hard to want to get out of bed.

Weeks later I've noticed:
-I get a better night's sleep while using the blanket

-I toss and turn much less
-Ive had less nightmares
-I have had less nighttime flashbacks
-I still have a hard time waking up but it's getting better

I do recommend getting a duvet cover for this. These are expensive blankets. A duvet cover is much cheaper to clean and change than the blanket.

I'd say give it a try. If it's not for you then sell it or send it back. I enjoy mine!

Now I know what they send a carrying case for it... You will want to bring it everywhere!

I was a little concerned about being "addicted" to using it for sleep when I went to stay over at a friends house. I was going to bring it with me however I wanted to be able to sleep apart from it. We go camping and I don't plan on bringing this with us so I had to see if I could manage without it. I actually slept okay. It wasn't as good as using the weighted blanket but it wasn't like I was laying there going through withdraws. Lol.

Im an insomniac so my loved ones recommended a weighted blanket. I did some research and this one fit all requirements. I recieved it quickly and then my whole family tried it out and fell in love. After i finally stole it back from them I excitedly hauled it up my room to try it. I ABSOLUTELY love it. THEN my husband stole it right off me....lol. My husband has restless leg syndrome and this blanket gives him much needed relief. Now i have to get him and my whole family one too.

I absolutely love this blanket. I sleep so much more soundly. It’s like being cuddled to sleep, if you like that sorta thing, and even if you don’t, it’s still comforting to be weighed down by this heavy, but no too heavy blanket. The quality is superb. The little details included like the convenient carry bag and the loops for an optional (not included) duvet to keep your new precious, all natural anti-anxiety sleep solution clean. I have not attempted to wash it yet, but I am going to purchase the duvet as well because I am not sure how you would wash such a heavy blanket without blowing up a washing machine.

Over all: probably the most money I’ve spent on myself in a very long time, but well worth the money. If you are debating wether to purchase it or not, DO IT!! I wish I would have done this sooner:m. Think of all the great sleep I would have had.

Before I bought this blanket I read a lot of reviews and I’ve been in a lot of stores to get a real touch of weighted blankets. I am very very happy with the choice I’ve made! This blanket is absolutely amazing! #1 I bought king size, it’s oversized king so we (me and my husband) don’t have to fight for the blanket during sleeping. Please look at the pictures and you will see the size of our king size blanket on our king size bed. #2 No leaking!!! double stitching really helps to keep inner glass pieces separated in squares. And #3 weight is evenly distributed #4 no noise!!! I don’t hear any noise when I am turning/moving during sleeping. #5 I feel hugged!!! and blanket helps my husband sleep better!!! #6 inner glass pieces are very small I would say almost size of a sand which helps not making noise and distribute evenly!!! Double stitching provides no leaking!!! I saw blankets in a stores and they filed with big plastic pieces what make noise and all pieces collect in one place #7 high quality!!!

I was surprised!
I really enjoy this blanket from the start it doesn’t beads don’t build up in a ball to one spot like others and I like the cool and warm sides I got the 30lb one and it’s very comfortable when I have it on me it doesn’t feel so heavy but when I fold it up I can definitely feel the 30 lbs.
Love it so far quality is great

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend. All I can say is she loves it. She says it the perfect blanket, good weight and so soft. Only thing is she wants to find a cover for it.

This blanket is well made; the fabric is soft, high quality cotton, and the stitching is nice as well.

I highly recommend doing some research before deciding on which weight to order. I didn't consider this, and I just ordered the heaviest one (30 lb), which is too heavy for me! Many people recommend getting a blanket that weighs closest to 10% of your body weight, so I should have ordered the 15 or 20 lb blanket...

The free carrying bag is a joke, as the handles ripped off when I was pulling it out of the original box. I'm not too beat up about that; just know you'll throw it away immediately!
