The bed is nice and solid. The wood is real. It was pretty easy to put together but the instructions do need a minute to figure out. I love the tool they included instead of the typical Allen wrench, it made assembly go much faster! The Velcro for the slats was brilliant, I am not worried that the slats will slip over time like other beds I’ve had. So far I am very happy!

Update. The bed has been set up for maybe a week. Sitting in bed reading a book and the wood frame splits apart. I’m not sure how to ship it back because I don’t have the box anymore but if it can’t handle one person alone reading a book I imagine it couldn’t handle two people at any point.

Absolutely horrible product. The moment my son laid on the bed, the frame cracked in half. Amazon wants me to return this product before getting a refund but I can’t get it back in the box it came in. I’ve been on hold with Zinus customer service & can’t get an actual person to talk to about this issue. Huge waste of time & money!

I loved it. I am usually a little apprehensive about buying furniture online because the shades of the wood can look really different in person vs online. I took my chance and ordered it and absolutely loved it. The wood is solid and heavy. The color looks the same as it is in the picture. It looks classy and elegant and was very easy to assemble.

This bed looks so much better in person, its not as BROWN as it appears and its actually more of a rustic brown. I love it! The assembly was sooo easy I finished in 10minutes or less I just remember saying "thats it?". Its well made and stable no creeks and everything lines up flush.

It took about 30 minutes to build this bed with my husband and we had no issues. Not sure why the bed broke on another reviewer, but mine is nice and sturdy and hasn't had a problem with the whole family being on it. It is simple, but looks really nice.

Nothing special- just an easy to assemble bed frame for foam mattress. Is not flimsy but by no means is it what one would call robust. Is certainly more than adequate for my wife and I (about 320lbs total) and occasionally a couple of kids piled on for another 100 lbs.

The slats need to be about 3/4 of an inch closer is my only real gripe and reason i knocked the stars down to 4. We like our bed frame higher than normal and use store bought risers for under bed frame legs. These supports tend to come in sets of 6 and this bed has 7 legs which was annoying to discover at 11pm when we though we were done with assembly. No big deal but just be aware if you use risers too.

Acacia is a pretty wood but the way the bed frame is made of many small pieces joined together I wish I had chosen differently. Doesn't matter to us because of how our comforter drapes over and hides the frame but it may matter to you.

We bought this bed because we had a house guest coming and didn't have a lot of time to shop around. Amazon makes it so easy, right? Don't make the same mistake we did, take the time to go somewhere in person unless you just don't care. The first time the bed was delivered, we discovered multiple cracked boards upon opening the box. Amazon paid for the return yes, but it's a lot harder to repack a box like this than unpack it. Lots of tape and cursing. The second bed arrived and was really scratched up out of the box, but now our guest is coming the next day and we have no choice but to set the bed up. For $300 we got a bed frame that looked like we bought it at a thrift store for $30. Gouges on the corners, scratches on the flat part of the headboard, scratches on the frame boards. Ridiculous. The, to boot, one of the threaded sockets has been inserted crooked, so there is no way to secure the corner of the frame with both provided screws, so we just used the one. I feel so stupid for not trusting my gut on this one... don't buy this bed, you will have regrets.
