I got this for my wife's car and she loves it. Her phone holder with the suction cup on the window would melt in the summertime so we had to try something new this year. I clamped this near the cup holder and ran the gooseneck to the right of the stereo/AC cluster and rested it on top of dash. She says the clamp holds her phone real sturdy compared to her old mount where the phone would fall out.

It's perfect! I'm in my sixties and I have RA. It hurts for me to hold my phone long enough to read ebooks, but since I have this phone holder, the only thing I have to do is be conscious of not sitting too long! My hands and shoulders no longer have painful moments that always made me have to stop reading. Nothing on this product is difficult to adjust even with my arthritis! I bought this to hold my cellphone at eye height when using my treadmill because I have neck strain sometimes from looking down at it on the console. I was worried it wouldn't work. I was worried for nothing because it fit perfectly the way I needed it to. I am a happy camper
