Traveled from AZ to Niagara Falls and back! The Marksign cargo bag worked well for us! We protected it against our metal rack (put a blanket on the bottom and taped some door weather proof strips on the bars with electric tape) and there was no wear that broke through the waterproof coating on the bag (unlike the carrier we bought of another brand for our roof). We drove through rain and everything inside remained dry! We are very pleased with this purchase!!!

We drove from Colorado to Virginia with this thing FILLED to the brim. It snowed and then rained almost the entire way. We had a large suitcase inside of the bag as well as several large plastic totes, with some other miscellaneous items tucked in the nooks and crannies. There was only a drop or 2 of water in the bottom of the bag after 2 days of driving when we unloaded everything. We stopped for a night, half way along our drive, and didn't feel super comfortable leaving it on the carrier over night. So we just unstrapped the bag and carried the loaded down bag in to our hotel room. The exterior handles are strong!! It probably weighed 350 lbs when full... I totally recommend this bag!

This is awesome! First of all, I used to fight with all the things I had to fit in my SUV when we wanted to go camping. Then my kids got older and we had more things to take camping so I decided we needed either a trailer or other solution for lack of space. I started looking for a cargo carrier and a bag. With some research, I came across this bag and I am so glad that I did. It is a great bag with a lot of space. It is made of a very sturdy material and it's waterproofed to stand any type of weather.i really love it and would buy it again.

Y'all, as I am writing this review, I am still absolutely shocked and so highly impressed with this product. I bought this Rooftop Cargo to use on my Honda CRV (no roof rack) for a 3 week cross country camping road-trip and it was, without a doubt, the best decision I made when preparing for the trip. This thing is incredible, it is so easy to put on the car and strap down, the material is so high quality, and I fit 3 large suitcases easily into it. Let me tell you, I drove through some insane weather, massive thunderstorms, winds so high they were pushing the cars around the interstate, and this cargo bag NEVER. MOVED. It literally never budged from where I strapped it, not one time, it was so secure. And I would have sworn up and down that when I finally took it down, after 3 weeks of driving, that everything was going to be soaked. Nothing. Not a drop of water got inside that thing. Torrential downpours were like nothing to this cargo bag. It is without a doubt, the best product I have ever ordered on Amazon. If you need rooftop cargo, please, buy this one. I am so impressed and so happy.

Haven’t used product yet; initial impression is very favorable. I build a PVC frame (materials $30 at Lowe’s) to give the carrier some rigidity - dimensions 53” x 16” x 20”. Cut the 53” in half, add a T connection on both sides and another 20” vertical to prove support in the middle of the carrier - see picture. Fits perfectly in 60” cargo carrier.

Great product just drove 2500 mile and went through a few thunder storms and the bag held up great. The seams and zipper seemed very heavy duty. I cut some sintra (pvc plastic boards) that fit the inside walls and made it a rigid box. It worked great!!! There are 6 straps that come with it and they also worked great! Very happy with this product for sure!

After reading reviews on this bag, may I say that if you put your skin on a muffler your probably going to go to the hospital. This bag is not rated for 200 + degrees.

This is the second cargo bag we have purchased. We purchased it for our smaller cargo carrier 48" x 22" and it fits perfectly. We really like it. It's strong and water resistant. It can be a little cumbersome to open and close, but this is what makes it water resistant having a tight zipper and the Velcro closures on the flap. We used Bungee cords to strap it securely. Nothing against the straps that came with it, I just felt better with the bungees.

This bag is not rip proof or high temperature resistant. Use common sense when packing contents and carry location on your vehicle. I would recommend this for travel in a cargo carrier.
