At first I was afraid this might be too unlike the famous 'Craftmatic' bed, which sells for close to twice what this one costs, but then I read a bunch of reviews and thought I should just go for it! The warranty covers returns anyway if I didn't like how it felt or worked, so what the heck, right? Ok so, firstly, they delivered it a day late, not sure why, the carrier apologized every which way, and when the UPS guy arrived the next day, he was kind enough to help me slide it into the house (it's heavy--like 140 pounds, extremely doubtful that a guy and his little wife hoisted this thing like they appear to in the ad video, so I'd get a helper if I were you). It really does set up in 5 minutes though (again, if you have help) so that was a snap. Functionally it was superb, I found my very best night's sleep in several years, on the Lucid mattress it's sold with. I will mention a glitch with the remote control they sent with it, unfortunately it--and I quote the customer service rep-- "eats batteries," an affliction which upon my calling he assured me was a rare occurrence, so I shrugged it off and waited a few days for the new one to arrive. Actually they were so decent about it, I won't even drop it down a star, Lucid offered the kind of service people usually can only dream about, and you really need to leave the mattress alone to rest and re-inflate for two days anyway, (they ship it rolled up in a tightly-sealed plastic enclosure) so I only really had to wait a day or two before testing it out. The angles are all great, it has fully adjustable tilt, and the legs raise to a height I'll never need, but you're free to set it however you like. I give this bed 5 stars out of 5, and kudos to the customer service guys, again, thank you to those who assisted me! Hope you never need them but if you do, it's good to know they care about backing their products. Highly recommended.

The box was so heavy, and clearly marked as such, that I injured my shoulder trying to push it into my house. I ended up tearing my rotator cuff! The box sat in my living room for about 4 weeks until I could coordinate with some neighbors to help set it up. I was truly excited to finally stop walking around the large box. Once opened and the cardboard ripped to pieces, it was discovered that the main power cord was sheared in half. Repacking it for returning it was not an option, so my neighbor, with years of experience with electrical repair work, repaired the wire and finished setting it up. I’m sure that having him fix the wire probably voided the warranty. I sure hope it lasts a long time! I’m off work until the middle of May to recover from the shoulder surgery. The bed is extremely comfortable, the remote is awesome, and is perfect for my sleep issues.

This was simply one of the best purchase decisions I’ve made on Amazon or otherwise. As seen in other reviews, it was incredibly easy to install. I was able to complete the entire install from start to finish. Only advice, make sure you have 2 people to move it. I moved it by myself down to the basement, and it really was hard. Get some help for sure to move it. Once in place, you can do the rest on your own.

The base is incredibly sturdy, well built and super super quiet. I mean, you really barely hear it when you are moving it up or down. The controller is easy to use. It gets plenty high enough for what I need. I got it so I can sit up and watch TV or work on my iPad. The four USB ports (2 on each side) are an awesome bonus. They fast charge my phone with no problem.

Would have no issues recommending this product to anyone looking for a nice adjustable base at an affordable price!

The bed is easy to assemble but keep in mind is it is pretty heavy and required 2 adult men to get it upstairs to the bedroom. I was able to assemble it alone.
My call out it to the bad packaging. legs and parts that were supposed to be pre-assembled had fallen off and were moving free in the box. The box is very heavy and large, no hand holds and with free moving parts does not ensure arrival in the best quality.
The UPS driver dragged it to the door and small part of the box had been ripped open as a result, exposing small part. No discernible damage or damage that is minimal and I do not mind it but not happy for a ~600$ product. Not the fault of the delivery company or driver. The package is very heavy and should be designed to take that into account.

Packaging made delivery person's life miserable, enabled small damage to the package and made moving into the house and inside the house difficult. Assembly did not match the instructions 100% as parts had gone loose during delivery. Overall no meaningful damage but close call.

I bought this adjustable frame with Lucid's 12" matress for my bed bound mother, to help her better sit up and eat etc. It was wonderful at first, but then the entire adjustable motor died out only 5 months into her using it, leaving her only able to lay down flat again. To say I am disgusted is an understatement. I cannot reach anyone to contact for a replacement. Due to this I strongly advise you shop for another, better brand so this doesn't happen to you too.

Absolutely the best thing ever! I've suffered from GERD for a long time and have used everything from wedge pillows to blocks under the headboard legs in order to get a bit of a tilt. I finally jumped in and ordered this base. Oh. My. God. What a huge difference this makes to my sleep and my health! No more nighttime symptoms. And I didn't even know how much more comfortable a bed could be with this head and foot raise option. I love that there are USB ports on both sides of the bed, too. Handy for keeping my phone and tablet charged while I watch in bed. 10/10 would buy this again. Easy to assemble but unless you're big and strong (I'm not) you'll need a couple of people to wrestle this into place. Nice solid construction!

Warning 1: it is quite heavy for the size.
Warning 2: although one person could assemble it, two or more are definitely advisable

So far, so good. From the very first night I used the frame, lifting my upper body no more than six inches has reduced my snoring to heavy breathing and the number of time I wake up during the night to zero. The negative is the lack of fixation for a headboard.
