If you think you found the diamond in the rough, think again. This bed is cheap, and you get what you pay for. The drawers are frosted plastic. There is nothing to attach the drawers to on the bed, so they kinda float around. The upholstery is poorly done. It’s just bad. Looks worse than ikea. I would definitely buy ikea over this for the same price.
Love this bed frame! I was able to get the boxes into my place by myself, but had to get creative with it. The frame wasn't difficult to put together, it took 2 of us a little over an hour. It was missing some parts, but they were replaced by the manufacture fairly quickly. The bed is sturdy and doesn't squeak or make nose when moving around on it. I had already made this purchase on Wayfair, but thought I'd leave a review here as well.
The bed was easy to put together, I needed help moving the box, but once opened one person can do this. I bought for the look and the storage. The 4 drawers really do work very well, roll out for easy access. They do hold a lot, much more than I expected. You really do not see the draws I bought a pillow top mattress to go with this, as I wanted a higher bed. Another unexpected plus is that I can use my King size sheets ,they just tuck under the mattress. Very pleased with this bed.
The damage in the photos was discovered during the unboxing. The box it was shipped in was not damaged. The tear in the headboard fabric is visible when built, so that’s disappointing.
All that being said, the bed is a nice addition to our guest room and the color allows for many different room designs.
I like the color & simple assembly of this bed, but I was disappointed by the slats which hold the mattress up. Four of the plastic caps which attach those slats were broken, and the slats themselves are not finished, necessitating another layer between them and the mattress (I ended up using the box in which the bed frame was shipped). Also, the drawers are not laminate & particle board, as expected, but flimsy, clear plastic over metal frames!
It's serving it's purpose for the time being, and I did appreciate the shipment of extra hardware for construction, but I was definitely a bit disappointed.
Love this bed... looks great, easy to put together by yourself, doesn’t take up much space and works great with the foam/hybrid mattress I also ordered on here. Does not require a box spring, not even sure one would work well on the arched slats to be honest.
Only minor complaint is that the two drawers by the headboard side will be obstructed from opening if you have a nightstand on either side of the bed since they take up the full length. I’m working on finding a floating nightstand solution so I dont need to move them to open those drawers.
I had 12 leftover bolts when I had finished setting it up and don't think I missed anything, 8 of the #8's and 4 of the black #1's, everything seems sturdy and solid so I'm thinking that maybe this is a "general use" hardware package that ships with other furniture as well and just contained extras.
Curious if anyone else had leftovers...
To get started, just lay all the parts out in separate stacks in order of use. Then the rest is history. One person is all that's needed and if you are working in a small room, one person is best. Make sure to put it together in the area you plan on using it in because it would be difficult to move without damaging it. I've never put one together before and it only took me one hour from start to finish. I love the concept and it does look nice but as for quality it is a little on the cheap side. The drawers are of plastic with small wheels and that does make them difficult to pull out and push in and especially on carpet. You get what you pay for and I knew what I was getting. That is the only reason I give it three stars.
Not a fancy quality bed but it’s exactly what it is in the pic. Put together myslef. Instructions were very on point. Would be hard to screw up. Took me like probaly 3 hours to put together but im a bitch when it comes to this. Not hard to put together just very tedious. No reason to be intimidated by putting this piece of furniture together
