I am hesitant to write a bad review of a product, but in this case, I feel it would benefit people to know what they should expect.

It is always risky to buy furniture without “trying it on”, to be sure. We chose this sofa because we like the color and look of it. But a couple of things went wrong.

First of all, the delivery. We were told point blank that since the driver was alone, the driver could not bring it up any stairs and would have to leave it on the curb in front of the house. Not what was promised. But kids were home and they and the driver were able to bring it in.

When we unwrapped the sofa, we noticed a board protruding from the right hand side. We figured it was part of the packing materials. Well, the plywood plank was screwed in so tight nothing, even an electric screwdriver, could release it. And there were ink stains in random places on the sofa.

Despite both of these problems the deal breaker was comfort. Absolutely none. No bounce, no give, like sitting in a padded church pew. Also, construction was poor and seams were askance. So please...

Try at the store before you buy on Amazon. One good thing that came from this is we cancelled the order for the matching loveseat we ordered direct from Ashley. Hope this review helps you!

Update: 4/17/19 bought this couch in 2017, it broke. We had to replace it. Not bad for a small investment. The arm of the couch somehow snapped. Probably usage problem , running out of room and ppl leaning/sitting on it. We got a new couch and I miss it. It was so comfy. To something noticed, the top cushions have zippers! You can unzip them and re stuff them if they become to flat for you.
So, when I bought this couch I was worried based on some reviews but honestly, I am in love with it. I have had it for almost a year now and it honestly down right dangerous. Everyone falls asleep on this couch and you know how you get in a argument with your signficant other and send them to the couch? well, this couch is more comfortable than our bed so I sleep on the couch instead because its better. I got in the grey and I really like the color. A lot of people complained about the cushions you sit on, the covers are removable and washable, I am not sure why people think they can not rotate them. I do understand what people mean about the upper cushions though. I can see where my husband and I regularly sit because those cushions look a little flatter and have to be fluffed time to time (or before guests come over so it looks fuller). other than that I love this couch, best first couch I could of ever bought.

Paid extra 159$ for delivery and this is what has been delivered. I had high hopes from Ashley furniture and read all positive reviews for this product before buying. But my experience has been pathetic.

I had been looking at this sofa for a few months trying to decide if I was brave enough to order it online. I read every single review at least twice and decided to just do it. I've only had it for a few days but it looks great in my living room, is firm (which I wanted), big enough to nap on even with my 2 dogs. I have to say that I love it. Had zero issues with delivery - they were great. Yes, the legs are plastic but you can't tell looking at them when they're on the sofa. My son attached them and had no trouble. It took a few seconds at each corner to feel for the holes through the fabric bottom but once he found it, just screwed the leg on. Definitely not a bright true red but as others have stated, a burgundy. It's still a very pretty color. If anything happens to dull the glow of my 5 star review, I will edit it. So far it's love all the way.

Came with damage.. Bought this couch with the size in mind. Being 6'2 I needed something long enough to lay down on. This couch is listed as 89 inches and 90 at the bottom of page. Using a tape measure It is only 85 inches and at 6'2 I would have to scrunch up to fit and wont be comfortable trying to sleep on it. Other then that its a very nice couch.

Couch came with a large tear in one of the cushions (and since they are attached, you can't flip it or replace it). Additionally there was a piece of wood screwed into the bottom that was a pain to remove. Overall, not very happy about this purchase.

I was pretty worried about ordering a couch on Amazon, and this one had mixed reviews, but I liked the style and price so went for it. We've had the couch for a couple of weeks now and are very happy with it! It's fairly firm, which we like, looks just like the pictures, and is a good size without being too big. Is it as comfortable as a couch that is a couple of thousand dollars? No, but for the price, we're very happy!
