I’m taking this time to Share with you as a Concerned Customer,,, I Purchased this Queen Adjustable Base in Feb 2018 I was Extremely Happy with the sleep quality I was getting no lower back pains any longer just by the raising of my head and feet...However now in April 2018 the raised foot adjustment has Stopped Working I contacted the company and the first response from the lady was to Check the Weld Spots on the Adjustable Frame and see if it’s Broken I didn’t see any Broken Weld Spots So she sent me a replacement Motor which I installed very easily last night,,,the lower foot adjustment still didn’t work..Apon further inspection I realized in fact that the Metal Frame had Ripped apart like paper,that Raises the foot portion of the bed,Due to a Cheap Grade of Metal being Used on the Frame, now they said the frame can withstand 750 lbs..well my wife and I are only a combined 400lbs....So Lucid Adjustable Bed Frame to me Need to use a Thicker Grade Metal for the Bed Frame I can’t afford to throw away 700.00 on Something that you are Advertising as a Great Product, and then I Realize it’s Cheaply Made with a Thin Metal that Won’t last,,,,,AND LUCID Company knows it’s Cheap, because the First Question to me was, Can you Check the Metal Frame to see if it has BROKEN WELD SPOT.?? Now I’m Considering to get 2 Twin size XL frames,,because two single frames may be Sturdier and able to support our Weight with out Breaking in the Weld Spots during Raising and lowering the frame with out Defects for us than the Weight of both of us on the single queen frame...Now I have to Purchase New Mattresses for the Change if I make this Choice......( UPDATE 4/30/2018) After Contacting Lucid Company I must say they were very helpful and understanding of the problem, they did give me a alternative option that I was very pleased with and Lucid Company did assist and settle my problem to the Highest Customer Satisfaction as Possible,,and yes I do continue to do Business with Lucid because of the Customer Satisfaction that they have Displayed during my issue on hand and because of that I will give them a rating of “5 Stars” Thank you “Lucid Company” “Sally” for your Great Customer Personal Attention you displayed to me......and as Stated YES I Continue to do Business with Lucid for that Reason...

My family got this adjustable bed base, along with a new memory foam mattress, as a surprise gift for my Grandparents. They where so shocked to have a bed and especially to see the cool new features of the adjustable base.
Personally, I haven't slept on it, but my Grandparents say they love it. What I can say is that it was incredibly easy to set up. Really all you have to do is pull it out of the box, unfold it, attach four legs that screw in, attach the little rods at the foot of the bed, and plug in the wires. The only hard part about it was moving it into the bedroom because it was kinda heavy. Definitely don't try to carry/push it around by yourself.
Although I haven't slept in it, you better believe I tried it our after setting it up. The remote is very simplistic, and easy for even my Grandparents (who don't even own a computer). Also, the remote had a neat little flashlight on it. Sometimes the little things like that go a long way. Another such little feature was the USB charging ports under both sides of the bed base. I doubt my Grandparents have a need for them, but I sure wish my bed base came with them.
As for the workings of the machine, it performs phenomenally. It is extremely quiet and smooth. It responds very precisely to the remote and it moves rather slowly so you can adjust your bed to the exact position that you would like. I can't think of anything to make this product any better. And did I mention that it looks good too?

There have been numerous questions regarding the legs on the Queen size L300. I knew I was going to have issues with leg length right off the bat, so I made a point of researching this. There had been some misinformation from the seller suggesting that the two middle legs were fixed and could not be removed...the legs do indeed come 'attached', but they unscrew and are interchangeable with the other four legs. My plan included the cutting of all of the legs, so having the legs off the frame was really important for achieving perfectly clean cuts. Curiously, I found that Walmart (of all places) seems to be the only on-line source for, what appears to be, Lucid's own line of replacement legs...those coming in three other sizes (3 inch, 5 inch and 8.5 inch) and all but the 3 inch still 'in stock' at the time of this review.
That being said...My wife and I are thrilled with this bed frame. The frame is heavier than it is stout; and by that I mean, you want to be careful 'where' you grab it when it's time to move it around. The nature of an adjustable frame suggests moving parts, and if all these parts are to move as intended, you don't want to be twisting or torquing them separate of each other. I am 62, and only have memories of being young and strong, but with some planning, I was able to manage this by myself. Ideally, if you're smarter than I am (and most people are) have one or even two of you friends there to help if you're installing a 'Queen'.
We're going to enjoy this thing for a while and hopefully give it a another great review in the future as well.

This bed is very heavy for elderly people, easy to unpack but cannot be carried because of the weight. We managed to slide it to the bedroom on an old sheet not to damage the floor, opened it with bottom up to proceed with installing the legs and make the necessary connection. The tough part was to return it upside up without any luck. It required 2 more people to assist us without damaging the legs. This instruction is in the booklet and should not put weight on the legs when turning it, this could cause damage to the legs because of the weight. The reason we gave it a 4 star is because of this, it should be mentioned in the amazon site that 3 or more persons are required to set it up to let us know help will be needed to assist us. The frame is folded in half and not sturdy when you turn it on its legs which makes it more difficult for only 2 persons. This is not intended to provide a negative review, we very much enjoy this bed with the 12 inch Lucid mattress. It is very comfortable and works great. It is truly easy to install but not in 5 minutes for older couples over 65 like us. We highly recommend this Lucid bed frame and Lucid mattress. Been using it for 2 weeks now and don't regret it.

The bed arrived super fast - 5 days ahead of scheduled delivery. Super simple to put together - just screw in 4 legs after you unfold it, then flip it over and plug it in. Put batteries ( supplied ) in the remote and you're good to go. Very sturdy construction. One very important point **** do NOT underestimate the weight of this bed *** It's damned heavy and will DEFINITELY require at least 2 people to lift it and turn it onto it's feet. If you are not putting on headboard brackets, it will only take about 10 minutes from box to fully set up. I bought the brackets and without doubt, it took WAY longer to get them put into place than it did to put the bed together. This was compounded by the fact that the brackets ( Lucid ) did not come with instructions, so I had to trawl Youtube to find a video of similar bracket installation. That said, they too are of sturdy construction and bolt on, so if you go for them, you will need
either a 13mm socket and wrench or two 13mm wrenches. Other than that, very pleased with it so far, and counting the minutes to bedtime!

The bed was packaged well and easy to assemble. Only a few steps which included screwing in the metal legs. Nothing complicated. The bed has a memory setting on the remote, which is really nice for returning to the setting you prefer.
We have a 12" memory foam mattress which not only fit well but adjusts perfectly with the incline for head and foot.
It is very heavy, so you will need a little extra help setting it in place. It is really well made, and very sturdy. Finally, it will fit inside most Queen sized frames, as it is high enough to clear the frame when adjusting the bed. This will also be important if you already have a headboard that you want to keep.
